Angelina Jolie’s National Guard Salute

Angie attended the news conference where partner Brad Pitt announced his latest “Make It Right” project to build affordable, environmentally friendly homes in the area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
Brad has pledged $5 million of his own money toward the project and is asking for donations from church groups to corporations to “adopt a house” for $150,000 each.

Make it Right is going to offer low cost loans, as well.
I hope Oprah will contribute a little of her billion dollars to this good cause. Has she ever been down here check on these displaced black folks.
If people would actually listen and read, you would know that Make it Right has a financial plan in place to assist families that may default on the house payments.
But I forget, it’s easier to be destructive than constructive …
a lot of news today about the jolie-pitts. i love it. they are so supportive of one another it is a great thing to see.

I am so proud of brad and angie they go all out to help people less fortunate.they make such a good family.they seem to think alike,both wanting to help.they are such beautiful people.
I love how they seem unable to be without each other for any length of time. They just seem so committed to each other and their family. Love them.
#55: If Oprah can’t put her name to it like good old Trump-oline, then she’s not gonna be interested. A person who won’t let another person grace the cover of her magazine is not the kind who will fork over her hard-earned dough to the competition. Like in movies, it’s all about billing.
This is why they will make it, they are always there for each other.

In Southern Virginia Townhomes start at $200,000. You couldn’t find a new single family home for $150,000.

You can probably buy a house for $150,000 and below, but to build a house from scratch, $150,000 nowadays would be the bare minimum an individual could buy a new house for. Not to mention if these houses are to be environmentally viable then that would automatically add on to cost of building them. It’s not cheap, that’s for sure.
Does that mean last time when Pitt was there,Jolie was not in NO because If she was,she would attend the Press conference??? :roll:

LOL!!! You couldn’t buy a shack for $150,000 where I live in Calif. Actually….I think I saw a shack in the woods in a real estate magazine going for $500,000. So, where I come from $150,000 is very, very, very affordable.

Saw Brad on the Today show and all I can say is that Angie is a very lucky woman. They both are. I don’t care what any negative person has to say about this couple, they make a perfect match. They bring out the best in each other and I just love watching them grow together.
I so admire them………….work so tirelessly….

Angelina was probably to tired … If you remember she had been working all week untill untill 3, 4 in the morning in Wanted.
They always make me feel so warm about this world, among all those coldness and cruelty.
