Angelina Jolie and 6-year-old son Maddox talk with a member of the National Guard during a news conference in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward on Monday
Angie attended the news conference where partner Brad Pitt announced his latest “Make It Right” project to build affordable, environmentally friendly homes in the area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
Brad has pledged $5 million of his own money toward the project and is asking for donations from church groups to corporations to “adopt a house” for $150,000 each.

She’s looking a lot healthier in the face now, got a little bit more weight & colour back so that’s good!

The Pitts Make It Right
It was press day for Brad Pitt today in New Orleans as he made the rounds in support of a new housing initiative called Make It Right for residents of the Ninth Ward devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
Brad donated $5 million himself and is appealing for matching funds with the hopes that the project will be complete by next summer.
When asked by Ann Curry of The Today Show whether or not Make It Right was the most important thing to him, Brad answered that it was his family that was his priority and “that love of my family brings me here” to New Orleans to give back.
Angelina was on hand as well, with Maddox, milling about with civilians and regular folk, no makeup, and her hair obviously not blown out. Shocking. Can you imagine Jennifer Aniston stepping out to greet her public without having first consulted the services of Chris McMillan?
Having said that… Angie’s looked better. But I suppose that’s the point. The Pitts are too busy saving the world to care about appearances. And this is an honourable thing, though I do wish they’d bring back some Pitt P*rn in time for the holidays.
Only Pitt P*rn trumps Beckham P*rn…that story coming up.

I’ve noticed they’ve worn several rings but a set in particular are simple gold bands on their right ring fingers. I have no idea what the significance (although I do speculate from time to time). I don’t expect the JPs to share any time soon, if at all.

I think its very inspiring what these two individuals are doing. Forget the fact that they are celebrities…since there are so many others with more money…eg. Oprah…P. Diddy..J. Lopez…who don’t make a dent in their charity work. P. Diddy who is worth alot more only gave 500 thousand…Oprah had Nate decorate a couple of homes…and D. Trump and Michael Doughlas…hum…what did these two haters do for the Katrina victims….complained about BP and AJ. By the way, I do like the Oprah “shows”…what I don’t get is why she calls these girls her “daughters”…AJ can call Zahara her daughter because she actually adopted the girl and took care of her. Oprah, these girls have mothers…the most you can say is call them your “god-daughters”…or something along those lines…don’t make yourself out to be a real mother to these girls. Any billionaire can shell out money to have someone build schools and teach these girls…granted thats nice that you took your own money out….but thats call “donation”…”charity”…you didn’t adopt these girls…so they are NOT your daughters
