Brad Pitt Greenlights “Make It Right” Project

Actor-activist Brad Pitt announced more details of his affordable housing “Make it Right” project for the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans on Monday’s Today show. The first of at least 150 environmentally friendly homes will be ready by next summer.

On putting his money where his mouth is after pledging $5 million toward the reconstruction: “This area where we’re standing right now, they lost over 5,000 [homes]. I’m hoping we can expand over to the rest of New Orleans. There’s no reason why we need to stop here. It’s just going to be if we can get the financial support to make up the difference people need to return to their homes.”

On asking for money to make it happen: “This is an adopt-a-house campaign. I’m asking for foundations, for high net-worth individuals, for church groups, for corporations to come in to adopt a home. Basically, $150,000 will get a family back in their home.”

#111…karma finally after all the hell poor angies has suffered at the hands of jen and her fans.i never in my life had seen so many people,the media,tabloids,jens fans,other actors that were so rude to angie especially around the time her poor mother died they treated angelina terrible.i saw no compassion or little for angie.and here jen has a mother and she will not have nothing to do with her.

OMG!!! Thank you guys for the yahoo pictures. Angie looks so freaking gorgeous without any make up on. She looks very happy too. All the family went to NO to support daddy.

Angie looked so cute in her coat while she played with Madd. Love her hair when she parts it on the side (like she did in MAMS) more than when she parts it in the middle. Her face changes with each change of her hairstyle. This ones she looked so young and carefree (like little girl elegant).
