OlderBrad Pitt Greenlights “Make It Right” Project
Actor-activist Brad Pitt announced more details of his affordable housing “Make it Right” project for the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans on Monday’s Today show. The first of at least 150 environmentally friendly homes will be ready by next summer.
On putting his money where his mouth is after pledging $5 million toward the reconstruction: “This area where we’re standing right now, they lost over 5,000 [homes]. I’m hoping we can expand over to the rest of New Orleans. There’s no reason why we need to stop here. It’s just going to be if we can get the financial support to make up the difference people need to return to their homes.”
On asking for money to make it happen: “This is an adopt-a-house campaign. I’m asking for foundations, for high net-worth individuals, for church groups, for corporations to come in to adopt a home. Basically, $150,000 will get a family back in their home.”

Bravo to Brad for his efforts: the foundation, architectural design….i really, really like the styling of his houses….i hope that he gets to build more homes and spaces for the no area….this is awesome….and really at a great and equally practical budget $150k/house [definitely bets the others asking for 10k to build a non-quilty home] and even check-out the stilts and ca beach home style..this has brad’s touch all-over it…the geometric styling…plants…all brad…..oprah help brad please and all others around the world…i will help too…3 cheers for brangelina and make it right
Try as I might I can’t stand this man. I never liked him when he was married to Aniston,and, I still can’t stomach him.

Best response to haters and negative comments! Come on everyone. Don’t respond to them. Focus on the things that are happening today. Just think if Brad had not met Angie—he would spend his time going out to eat and going to Mexico, working on his house and making movies. Angie has been such a positive force in his life! Family and humantarian. His parents should be grateful to Angie for this. I’m sure they see a difference in thier son since getting with Angie. I am so proud of both of them. Yes, I will donate.
