People who are insulting her weight must’ve slept through Hairspray. One of the messages of the movie was to embrace difference, not ridicule it. It’s a shame that people can go on and on about how great the movie’s message was but they can’t seem to remember it once they’re outside the theater doors.

Nikki looks amazing! And as for the whole being a bad role model thing…I’d rather have her as a role model for my kids than some of the stick-thin snooty actresses in Hollywood today

Gah, Nikki looks fraaaakin gorgeous! She is so stunning and inspiring, and always nothing but humble and sweet!

I don’t get why some of you have to say such horrible things about her weight. If she didn’t look the way she did she never would have gotten the role of Tracy and the world and hollywood would be short one amazing and talented actress. Just because she doesn’t fit the ”norm” gives none of you to judge her and call her names.

I say go Nikki, keep on keeping on with your phenominal self!!

Nikki has way more talent then a lot of stars in Hollywood do, but she should really loose some weight. I’m not saying she needs to go like anorexic skinny but at least loose some of it. Its really unhealthy to be overweight like that. She already has a pretty face so she’d be gorgeous if she did loose some weight [:

It’s funny: With all the thin celebrities, people bash them, call them “anorexic”, and nobody so much as blinks.
But with the FAT celebrities (Yes, FAT, not healthy), everyone gets all up in arms when somebody says that they should lose weight, and the person who suggested that the celeb should lose weight is called rude, disrespectful, etc.

Friggin’ hypocrites. FYI everyone, it’s just as rude to call someone “anorexic” as it is to call them “fat”. Both are weight comments, and both are hurtful things to say.

I’m sorry guys, but certainly i can’t believe why u say that she’s a cute, pretty, gorgeous girl. ok she isn’t awful of face, but what about the body? this is not only a superficial comment. i’m talking about her health.. c’mon look her brother.. they’re like twins!!! If i was her parents, i could be really worried for them. I don’t think that she is a good role model. Remenber, the Obesity is one of the serious diseases in the latter decade. Maybe is a problem of heritage (very possible) but if she really thinks remain and develop in Hollywood, she must go down weight.. a lot!!!… I’m sorry but I don’t believe that like that she could obtain many leading roles. Hairspray was the exception, how many more will have of these?

Girls who aren’t like the other girls at their schools, the ones who get teased, made fun of, who believe they can’t do things because of the way they look, she gives them something to look to and believe in.

That’s why she is a role model.

She’s making an album? Whatever, I guess everyone needs to experience failure. This girl isn’t making it far in hollywood.

and not like she can go to another film right now, because of the writers strike and in may there’s going to be an actor’s strike. and me and other people would totally buy her cd.
