Nikki Blonsky and her younger brother, Joey, walk the green carpet at Movies Rock: A Celebration Of Music In Film held at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday in Hollywood.
Movies Rock will be broadcast this Friday, Dec. 7 @ 9PM ET/PT on CBS.
Nikki, 19, has laid out plays for a musical show she hopes to take on the road next year.
“I’m putting my own choral show together to do with the Turtle Creek Chorale in Dallas, Texas, on Dec. 16 at the Texas Philharmonic,” she says. “It’s the first time I’ve ever gotten the chance to put my own show together, and I hope it goes well. The theme of my show is ‘Anything can happen, follow your dreams.’ I’m just going to be singing a lot of fun songs that mean something to me and hopefully will mean something to my audience. Then, hopefully, by the time I’m ready to take the show on the road fully, I’ll have my album out and have worked in songs from the album.”

the fact that they made another HAIRSPRAY movie at all was a triumph and a success, because it’s all about a fat girl, so there is her victory right there!
Paloma…that is a lie. Talk to any cardiologist. There is no way this girl is eating healthy (also the right quantities) as well as exercising. She would not look like this if she was eating nutritiously and exercising. Don’t spread lies to give obese people (possibly yourself) a false since of security.

Michelle- I wasn’t trying to back or bash anyone, and I would never ever go into a post of someone I didn’t like and be rude to the celeb, or rude to the fans because that’s just unkind. I am sorry if I offended you with the “too skinny” thing, I shouldn’t have went there at all. I just meant that you could take almost any celeb and say they are unhealthy for some reason or another.

Sure what inside is important but the reality is our society really does base a lot (too much) on looks. What is inside also doesn’t much matter if you die of a heart attack in your early thirties. Wouldn’t you rather be healthy and share everything you have to give for decades more?
You are closer to the kindergartener in both your spelling/punctuation and denial of the unfortunate and harsh realities of the world. Again, calling some one fat does not also say they are not talented and wonderful inside. Failure to realize this only means that YOU are associating fat with all those other negative assumptions.
