Angelina & Maddox Rub Noses
Angie nose best!
Angelina Jolie and her eldest son Maddox share a special mother-son moment while rubbing noses in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Brad Pitt later joined the pair and mingled with the crowd at an evening concert.
Earlier in the day, Brad Pitt gave his “Make it Right” project the green light with Angie and Mad nearby.
Of note: Check out this cute picture of Angie and Maddox. Mad challenged his mom by tying a piece of rope to Angie’s water bottle. Mad tried to make mommy spill!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hunting for answers after a mystery gunman opened fire yards away from their Los Feliz, Los Angeles home last week.
A van used by the couple’s security detail was damaged in the shooting incident, a window was smashed by a bullet, but no one was injured.
Police insist Jolie and Pitt were not the targets of the gunman.

# 608 tHE TRUTH @ 12/05/2007 at 9:48 am The haters are just getting upset because brad wants it known and has made it clear yet again that he was not stolen and that his marriage was over before him and angelina. All the time he’s telling what really happened it’s hitting home that their idol was bullshitting the public for two years with her fake pity party over nothing,which is why they are spitting their venom even more.

Great post!
# 527 Oh God @ 12/05/2007 at 4:47 am OMG can you believe rags and gossip reporter are talking about X will spend X-mas with Pitts in missouri and they(jane and X) plan to go shopping for x-mas.hehehe
I do really feel sorry for X,She just with hanging to Pitt`s C-tail can stay in limelight.hehehehe
If I were her,I would fire Huvan because I hate to look like poor,lonely hen.but maybe she likes this.
+++++++++++
What a joke ! funny, X never done any christmas shopping nor spend X mast with Brad ’s family while still married to Brad in all those 7 yrs. together. they were always with the Arguette worshipping the sun at Mexico. Then suddenly after divorce for almost 3 yrs., she’s flying to MO alone from her location shooting Oregon just to spend X mast with the senior Pitts ? who would believed that, other than Sam, nadi and the faniston loons. hilarious story !
Sam @ 12/05/2007 at 10:42 am
sam, of course I can still be Brad’s fan IF he had an affair with Angelina. And frankly, after seeing x’s manipulative, petty and vindictive behaviours, I give Brad full marks for his commitment to try and make that relationship work by bothering to try to fix his failed relationship with x - as attested by Courtney Cox, x’s best friend.
However, this point of whether I can be Brad’s fan IF he had affair with Angelina is MOOT because he didn’t have such an affair. Even x and her best friend said he didn’t have an affair.
So, take your own advice - give it up. You can hate brad and angelina even when they are innocent because you are a pitiful and delusional. Nuff said.
Hi what page are the Larry King quotes on?
Sam @ 12/05/2007 at 10:42 am
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Of course I would still love Brad even if he did have an affair, actually I commend him for not having an affair sooner. He deserves a medal for staying with this neurotic b@tch for sever years.
US Weekly have never stopped writing about Angelina, they have consistently had numerous polls about her every week on their web page. Even when they were printing about the lies published by other tabs they still made snide comments about Angie and sometimes about Brad.
Am not surprised about their cover especially since L&S or was it OK did one with X concerning her massive facial make over (one too many deviated spertum corrections I have lost count)So are they trying to convince themselves that Halle and Angie are not naturally beautiful and had to get plastic sugery to look good? If they could check their facts they would know that Angie was a model from a young age and Halle was running for miss. America at some point.
Rediculous tabloids, the rest of the tabs dont even deserve my mention coz they specialize in writing incoherent and totally out of this world issues. Since I live in this world its not for me.
**omg that child could not be more adorable!! I would’ve adopted him as soon as I saw him also….
and Angie’s an amazing mother…..God Bless Them
Quit pretending you know, because you don’t!
He also acknowledged that he’s uncomfortable being a celebrity. Watch Pitt on the fulfillment of parenthood »
“Well, I duck and jive,” he said about being in the spotlight. “Keep my head down.”
Celebrity, though, is useful when he can leverage it for a good cause, he added.
“The press uses me,” he said. “I use it.”
He doesn’t like, however, how the paparazzi use his four children.
“They call out my kids by name, shove cameras in their faces,” Pitt said. “… My kids believe that any time you go outside the house, it’s just a wall of photographers, people that take your picture. That is their view of the world. I worry about the effect it will have on them.”
Despite the unwelcome attention, Pitt told King that he wants more children with Jolie. “We’re just getting started,” he said.
He called Jolie a “fantastic” mother.
“Dedicated, kids first,” he said. “[She’s] really inventive and great fun to them and very, very protective.”
He and Jolie rarely argue, he said.
“No, not really,” he said. “[We] challenge each other a lot. Have good fun with that.” E-mail to a friend
That Came After
Brad Pitt sits down with that senile old **** Larry King tonight to discuss his New Orleans Make It Right initiative – the interview was pre-taped and will air Wednesday.
One of the most interesting parts is when Larry, actually somewhat deftly, turns the conversation around to family and Angelina, making a comment that “when you get emotionally involved with someone you work with”… about which Brad quickly corrected:
“Well that came after, that came after”, shooting a pointed smile back at Larry and addressing that long contentious and polarising issue about when his relationship with Angelina really began and why his marriage to Jennifer Aniston really ended.
While the MiniVan Majority prefers to blame Angie’s big bad boobs, many many sources have talked of Aniston’s refusal to have children, her toxic habits, and her “happy” escapes as the deciding factors behind their split. As such, Brad’s adamance about what “came after” is extremely intriguing…
And his comments are his children are extremely quivering, even for a dead-wombed ***** like me. He talks about his four children, he describes his blood connection to all of them equally, and how he has found fulfillment in fatherhood. A total sales pitch, yes, but still…I have always said this about Brad and Angelina: so what if they’re selling? They do it so well, I’m still buying.
Water? You sure that’s not gonna make you fat, Ang?
BRILLIANT idea brad, pour a bunch of money into a place where the inevitable is going to happen again at some point. The levees are still not strong enough to withstand another katrina. why not work on finding homes for these people in a safer area. Also, it was while he was married to jen that the emotional affair started and he got to get physical in front of the camera and have it played off as “acting” he sounds like he is trying reallly hard to sound educated in this interview. Ange is probably rolling her eyes!
RE: 580, 590, 592
Your comments clearly shows that you are not capable of being objective and rational. You refuse to accept the facts giving by the people involved, but rather make “opinions/criticism” based only on gossips.
YOU ARE IN AN ACCUSATORY MOOD–ALWAYS JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS WITHOUT THE ACTUAL FACTS.
There comes a point in everyone’s life that we must try to make a conscience effort to think before speaking.
You should really do a research about break-ups/divorces. It happens so much, and for many reasons. Now, everyone knows why and how it happen. It is your business if you want to live in gossip/tabloid world, but please— please, just don’t bring it here.
SUPER FAMILY, THIS IS THE CUTEST PIC!
GOD BLESS THE JOLIE-PITTS.
ALSO BRAD AND MAD’S SHOES ARE MATCHING SOOO CUTE!
Thanks JJ for the lovely photos. “No Levies” go to another thread of the idols you like. Brad and Angie are pledging $5 million to NOLA project for a good cause and have professional architects working on this project. Spread your hatred somewhere else. If you want to research how to French kiss and teach it to your children, do it at your own time and don’t sarcastically attack Angie by writing on JJ’s blog.
Loving Brad as always. These are fun times for fans. The pictures of Angelina & Maddox are adorable. They always have been. Someone mentioned if this is new…well to fans this is news. The rest of the populations could care less and I’m ok with that. LK asking many personal questions is just a reflection of being an American journalist. He’s no different than any other pop culture reporter. Brad and many celebrities should just speak to their fansites directly instead and by pass all the so called reporters. I don’t know if LK asked this but I would have love getting feedback from Brad about State of Play. Anyway I’m still on the lookout for the holy grail of interview from Brad or Angelina. I’ve been emailing James Lipton for the longest because I’m not sure how long he’s going to be doing the Inside The Actor’s Studio show.
Tottles!
BRAD Pitt speaks candidly about his new foundation, his love for Angelina Jolie and fatherhood on CNN’s Larry King Live.
Read some of the surprising answers from the Larry King Live interview below.
On his family with actress and advocate Angelina Jolie:
LARRY KING: But what was it like? When you are getting emotionally involved with someone you are working with …
BRAD PITT: That came after, Larry. That came after. But she is a woman of strong opinion and very specific beliefs and a great voice, I respect it, great intelligence.
LARRY KING: Fight a lot?
BRAD PITT: No, not really. Challenge each other a lot. Have good fun with that.
On his children:
BRAD PITT: They’re as much my blood as I am theirs. And they are brothers and sisters. And I look at this. One of them came from Ethiopia, and one from Vietnam, one from Cambodia and one was born in Namibia. And they are…they are brothers and sisters. And they have fun, and they squabble and they fight, just like any other family.
LARRY KING: And they’re all the same to you.
BRAD PITT: It makes me so proud.
On fatherhood:
LARRY KING: And how do you like being a father? It’s the hardest job in the world.
BRAD PITT: The hardest job in the world. The most rewarding job in the world. There’s something to - with the long days in here, we’re out here as soon as the sun comes out and to come home and have dinner with your kids and have to discipline one of them who is out of line and still have the energy for that is - I can’t explain the fulfillment of that but it is everything.
On his ‘Make It Right’ project: (a housing redevelopment in the lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA):
BRAD PITT: OK. This is what we are calling the adopt-a-house campaign. It is part art installation, it is part act of social disobedience, but it is really meant to work as a fundraising component. And we were looking for something that was loud and would get a lot of attention, that was also hopeful. So what you see here is, as you see these blocks scattered across this section of the Lower Ninth, to represent the houses that were destroyed, the homes that were destroyed. And what we are hoping to do is, as a house gets adopted, this is going to be up for five, six weeks, five-and-a-half weeks, as a home gets adopted, we will right that house and we will put it back on its foundation. So hopefully this will be an art installation that will be constantly evolving. And by the end of this — by the end of this five-and-a-half weeks, we hope to have a symbolic neighbourhood put back together. And that is the goal.
On practicing environmental conservation and sustainability in his own lifestyle:
LARRY KING: Has this affected your interest in this, your own lifestyle. The fact that you practice this?
BRAD PITT: Oh yes, oh yes, sure. I’m putting in a water capture system in our home in L.A. right now and incorporating solar. And yes, I think it is really exciting, this idea that we can insert ourselves into the ecosystem, this idea that within nature there’s no concept of waste is mind-boggling to me. Anything that’s discarded becomes fuel or becomes food for something else. And that we can be — we can be living that same way.And then, you know, it just sounds smart to me. It’s fun. But on top of that, sounds respectful to the people around us, respectful to the world. And then you want to get into the politics and dependence on oil. It’s a no-brainer for me.
Brad Pitt’s appearance on Larry King Live airs on Thursday December 6th in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore and Taipei at 6pm; Bangkok and Jakarta at 5 pm; Sydney at 9 pm and Tokyo at 7 am.
I AM THIER BIGGEST FAN ESPECIALLY ANGELINAS. I AM A MOTHER TOO SO I KNOW HOW SHE FEELS, I AM ALSO VERY HAPPILY MARRIED SO I CAN RELATE. THERE IS NOTHING A WOMAN WANTS MORE THAN TO HAVE A GREAT HUSBAND WHO LOVES HER AND HEALTHY KIDS. THAT IS WHAT’S FULFILLING. I FEEL VERY LUCKY AS SHE DOES UNTIL SOMEONE HAS THAT THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND. I WISH EVERY WOMAN COULD
Why isn’t that child in SCHOOL??
Where is CPS? Why aren’t they questioning why this child is constantly being pulled out of school, every few weeks and landing in a different city or country, on the whim/vanity of these parents?
Donations pour in for Pitt’s plan
$211,000 collected for Lower 9th homes Wednesday,
December 05, 2007
By Michelle Krupa
A day after actor Brad Pitt stood near the once-collapsed levee in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward and issued an open call for contributions to his Make It Right rebuilding effort, $211,000 already had rolled in via the project’s Web site, executive director Tom Darden said Tuesday.
The money, given by more than 2,500 donors, exceeded the average $150,000 price tag that planners have attached to each of the houses, which by Pitt’s specifications must be sensitive to the environment, storm-safe and beautiful. It arrived on the heels of more than $1 million that was contributed by several donors in advance of Monday’s unveiling, Darden said.
In addition to those gifts, Darden said organizers have been in talks since Monday with several major donors.
“We are also pursuing several larger potential contributions, but the lead time is obviously longer on those. Therefore, the Web site total of houses sponsored at this time is slightly deceiving,” he said in an e-mail Tuesday, referring to an electronic ticker at the site, http://www.makeitrightnola.org, that showed that donors had sponsored seven homes so far.
In announcing Make It Right in September at a meeting of world leaders on global warming, Pitt and philanthropist Steve Bing each pledged to match $5 million for the project. In the days after the Clinton Global Initiative conference, attendees committed $2 million more, though about half of that has not been received, Darden said.
Initial plans call for Make It Right to build 150 houses on the same lots in the Lower 9th Ward where participants’ old homes once stood, a nod to the theme of correcting injustices exposed by Hurricane Katrina.
But in unveiling the project Monday, along with a massive art installation at the site that features hot pink blocks representing the new homes, Pitt said his initiative could support construction of as many as 100,000 houses across the Gulf Coast if enough money is raised.
“This doesn’t have to end,” Pitt said during an interview Sunday. He has mentioned St. Bernard and Jefferson parishes and New Orleans’ Central City as possible Make It Right venues in the future.
As of late Tuesday, donors to the Web site had made 1,626 cash contributions and, through a creative twist on Internet-based fundraising, had “sponsored” 880 products, such as programmable thermostats, energy-saving washing machines and low-flow shower heads, that will be used in construction.
To select design elements, which range from a $5 compact fluorescent light bulb to $45,500 for exterior landscaping, donors take a virtual tour of a Make It Right house and click on items to check their price, then create an electronic shopping list of their preferred products.
“We were certainly hoping for such a positive response from individuals willing to make cash contributions, but we’re especially excited about how many people chose to sponsor sustainable products like Energy Star appliances and compact florescent lights,” Darden said, adding that organizers hope donors will use the site to learn how to reduce energy consumption in their own homes.
Pitt has stressed that the homes are not “freebies.” With house prices pegged at between $100,000 and $174,000, planners expect participants to cover a portion of the cost with insurance and Road Home proceeds.
But they expect that most homeowners will fall about $70,000 short of paying off their new homes. To fill the gap, Make It Right plans to offer forgivable loans of as much as $100,000. Applicants must have owned a home or lot in the Lower 9th Ward before Katrina.
