OlderCritics: Johnny Depp is Bloody Good!
Johnny Depp keeps with the bloody theme at the New York premiere of the Tim Burton-directed Sweeney Todd at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday in New York City.
The film, the silver-screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical thriller, is scheduled for a nationwide release on December 21st.
Here are some of the early reviews from last night’s screening. Critics are bloody loving it!

What, so he can be like every other average joe actor around these days? Johnny keeps things interesting and does things he wants to do and doesnt do things for the money.
Can’t wait for this movie, its a shame we have to wait until the New Year to see it in the UK.

He’s weird. He just has not gone overboard like Micheal Jackson.
I lovveeeee Johnny he is such a great actor, he keeps things interesting. I love that about him he is not a generic actor he does what he wants whenever he wants to do it. I feel bad for the people who doesn’t appreciate the value of an actor like that.

Hottest Man in Hollywood. He also impresses me with how he keeps his kids out of the spotlight. Johnny is very protective of them. He doesnt use them for publicity, like others ??? anyone have a guess of who I am talking about?
