Backwards Feet Waitress: I’m Not Disabled!

27-year-old Chinese woman Wang Fang was born with feet facing backwards!

But she’s learned to live with her condition without problems and recently refused a disability pension.

“I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant,” Fang said. “There is no reason to class me as disabled. I’m like everyone else - except of course that I put my shoes on backwards.”

Wang, who has a five year-old son with normal feet, sure is one brave woman!

Actually I am surprised that the peopel around have not shone her since their culture is quite superstitious. I thought they would have thought her to be the devil or something or bad luck. I guess she is probably well off since the fam owns a restaurant.

If you look at it, her feet aren’t backwards, she is actually walking on the tops of them. I would imagine that somehow the bones/tendons/muscles weren’t right when she was born, and she learned to adapt to it. She has an amazing attitude though! TOO many would whine and have the poor me attitude! Thanks for posting Jared! I saw this on the news the other day. :)
