Shots Fired Near Brad & Angelina’s Home

Don’t worry, they’re safe!

According to Life & Style, gunshots rang out shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 27 — just 25 feet from where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live with their four children in Los Feliz, Calif.

The gunman fired two shots, striking a Range Rover owned by a local resident and hitting the driver’s side window of a camper van used by Brad and Angie’s security team. “It was crazy,” neighbor John Martinez said. “If anybody had been in the car, he or she could’ve been killed.”

On Nov. 29, one of the couple’s bodyguards — a man who identified himself only as Brett and often sleeps in the van struck by a bullet — looked stunned as he inspected the damage. “I’m doing fine, but I don’t want to talk about this,” he said.

And while police declined to comment, officers arrived on the scene minutes after the shooting, neighbors say. In the days after the incident, several unmarked police cars could be seen patrolling the perimeter of the sprawling Pitt-Jolie compound, while two blacked-out SUVs were posted at the main gate.

“The atmosphere has changed all of a sudden,” says one local resident. But Brad’s rep says Brad and his family weren’t the targets of the shots. However, the resident adds, “You can tell their security guys are on high alert right now.”

Every time I hear something like that I realize that I am so happy and gratefull that I don’t live in America. Crime seems to be so high there - it’s not safe even for people who can afford high-tech security and protection. Sorry guys - don’t know how you live there…

This is very worrying. The shots were so close to their home and their security seems to have been a target. I wouldn’t put this past some of those psycho haters out there. Hope they’ll continue to be safe.

I saw this story on some news thingy…not just the mag article…they said that Brad’s rep denied they were a target, but they were unsure as to how a bullet hole got in a security vehicle…I think that vehicle was for the security team, not really their personal use…so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions and begin spreading rumors that someone wants them dead…we should wait and see what the official word is…
