ANDERSON: Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood`s good guys, one of my favorites. Tonight, Brad on being a dad. He is opening up like never before. You`ve got to hear this, next.

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment show. I`m Brooke Anderson. Tonight, Brad Pitt is speaking out like never before about being a father. Pitt was in New Orleans for his “Make It Right Foundation” and sat down with CNN`s own Larry King in an exclusive interview.

Earlier today, I spoke with Larry about Brad`s revealing chat where he really opened up about raising his four children with the love of his life, Angelina Jolie, and pledging $5 million of his own money to building homes in New Orleans. Take a look.

ANDERSON: This is really a huge exclusive for you being with Brad in New Orleans as he launched his project, this project to eventually build more than 150 homes. What did Brad share with you about why this is so personal to him?

LARRY KING, HOST, “LARRY KING LIVE”: Oh, there`s so much to see. When it airs tomorrow night, it is really incredible. He is so, Brooke, passionately involved in this. It almost overwhelms him. He`s not doing any films. He`s not scheduled any movies. He`s totally involved in this rebuilding the ninth ward which is like a war zone.

I`ve never seen anything like it considering how long ago Katrina happened. That this still exists in this country is a blight in many areas and what he`s trying to do is correct it, to make it better. And the way he makes it better is to enlist some of the top architects in the world and build new homes and move people into those homes. A lot of people back, former people of the ninth ward who live in Houston or Tuskegee, Alabama, to move them back.

So I would say, Brooke, he is totally committed and that will come through. You`re going to learn a lot about Brad Pitt in this hour.

ANDERSON: It`s incredible. What`s even more amazing, Larry, is that Brad is putting his money where his mouth is, $5 million of his own money into this. That`s pretty remarkable. We know he has deep pockets but, still, that`s very, very generous.

KING: You`re not kidding.

ANDERSON: What did he tell you about that?

KING: $5 million is $5 million. He feels that you sort of put your money where your mouth is. If he`s going to come forward - one of the ways you come forward is if you have the money, you put the money up.

He`s had a long love affair with New Orleans that I didn`t know. He lived there since 1992. He did a film there in `92 and then bought a house. So, he`s lived there 15 years. So he`s had a strong commitment to the city and he thinks what you do with a commitment is you back it up.

ANDERSON: Quite a connection to New Orleans. And in your exclusive interview Brad also really opened up about being a dad to the four children he`s raising with Angelina Jolie. Let`s take a listen to that now.

KING: And how do you like being a father? It`s the hardest job in the world.

PITT: The hardest job in the world? The most rewarding job in the world. There`s something to - we`ll put long days in here. We`re up since the sun comes up, and to go home and have dinner with your kids and have to discipline one of them who is out of line and still have the energy for that is - I can`t explain the fulfillment of that but it is everything.

ANDERSON: Larry, I know that Brad told you he and Angelina want to expand their family. Did you get a sense that`s going to happen sooner rather than later?

KING: Sooner rather than later. He`s 44. He`s not going to let too much time - I wouldn`t be surprised if they went to five, six, seven kids. He loves kids and he loves being a father. I think that came through in just that little piece so, yes, I would expect that they`re going at it right now.

ANDERSON: They seem like devoted parents. And he also opened up to you about when he and Angelina first met and what their life is like now. Take a listen to this.

KING: When you get emotionally involved with someone you`re working with.

PITT: Well, that came after. That came after. But she is a woman of strong opinion, very specifically and a great voice. I respect it. A great intelligence.

KING: Fight a lot?

PITT: No. Not really. Challenge each other a lot. Having good fun with that.

ANDERSON: Larry, you know, we see tabloid headlines all the time that their relationship is in trouble. You spent time with both of them there in New Orleans. Could that be any further from the truth?

KING: Well, tabloids are often wrong and in this case they could have fooled me. She is very much in love with him. I had a nice conversation with her while he was speaking to the crowd. And then of course she`s totally committed to his involvement in this and he`s committed to hers. I would say they`re very much in love, very much co-parenting. I think they`re a terrific couple.

ANDERSON: All right. Well, we know there is much more great stuff in your interview, Larry. We really can`t wait to see the whole thing when it airs Wednesday night on CNN 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

KING: Thank you, Brooke. I know you`ll find it fascinating.

ANDERSON: Can`t wait.

KING: A lot of people are going to really enjoy seeing this passion of this individual, totally committed.

I’ve got to rush off to a meeting at work, but I was just curious about this story. Isn’t their home in Los Feliz gated? And from the photos it doesn’t look like an upscale neighborhood. Oh well…it’s L&S. I don’t even know why I would think there’s an inkling of truth to this story.

BTW - I would love to see Brad & Angie in a romantic comedy! That would be sweet!!! :-)

Yes, things are getting better. Just foggy today.
A is coming home for the Winter Break. He will be home for a whole month. Excited about that..although he will be hanging out with his friends most of the time I’m sure.
I’m just watching some you tube videos. Have got to go finish X-mas shopping shortly.
I’ve asked Jared to put up an Aniston thread for those who desperately need it, but so far no success.

One of the TV reports of the shooting in Los Feliz showed another car parked ont he street that belonged to a neighbor. That car had been shot up quite a bit. It seemed like it was the target. The alleged Pitt security team member’s vehicle had only one bullet hole - perhaps a ricochet hit.

The Pitt proeprty has a number of houses on adjoining property that are technically on 2 different streets. The Pitt homes that are used by the fanily are not near the street. So I doubt this was that close to the actual family home or even the modern one they use as an office.

In any event, though I don’t think this was targeted at the JPs, those who contribute to stoking the flames of hatred against the JPs by sponsoring and adding to Jolie-Pitt hate sites on the internet or persons who allow the public to believe that Pitt was some kind of villain in his divorce arguably bear some semblance of responsibility for any attacks against the JP.

Ms. Aniston could have resolved any misinformation about her divorce by including in her many statements and indirect snide remarks about it, a very direct and simple statement that Pitt was not a villain. I think she said a number of things that would lad you to believe this but many of her fans and JP haters are plain stupid and apparently need a statement that hits them over the head.

Wasn’t Mr. & Mrs Smith a romantic comedy? Wasn’t that just out in 2005 - 2 years ago?

Also AOJJ was in the top ten because it was an internet voting poll. You guys just vote over and over. All polls where you can’t vote twice the Pitts always lose but when you guys find it and vote over and over then they win. That is not really a win at all but it excites you guys so its OK at least you have something to be excited about since they won’t make the Oscars.

We need a new thread. I posted on the last one. This story seems very deja vu. I’ve read this or something like this before. It was either a fire or a break in or gun shots. I can’t remember which but it’s got the same feel as the whole Z’s supposed bio mother story.

Why doesn’t JJ put up the story of an intruder getting caught going thru Jennifer Lopez& mark Anthony’s home this past weekend? He was a vagrant and people in the are called police If he’s gonna start being all goulish he might as report all the news.

If he continues to quote tabloids then there’s no reason to come here. He’s giving publicity to those rags on his own blog. These rags are all about negativity and Jared is supposed to be a fan? Is Jared running this blog? I’d really like to know.

the trolls just want to create drama when the truly heart wrenching story is what is happening in the Gulf Coast right now and in the tragedies happening else world in the world. (i.e. Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan etc…)
