OlderShots Fired Near Brad & Angelina’s Home
Don’t worry, they’re safe!
According to Life & Style, gunshots rang out shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 27 — just 25 feet from where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live with their four children in Los Feliz, Calif.
The gunman fired two shots, striking a Range Rover owned by a local resident and hitting the driver’s side window of a camper van used by Brad and Angie’s security team. “It was crazy,” neighbor John Martinez said. “If anybody had been in the car, he or she could’ve been killed.”
On Nov. 29, one of the couple’s bodyguards — a man who identified himself only as Brett and often sleeps in the van struck by a bullet — looked stunned as he inspected the damage. “I’m doing fine, but I don’t want to talk about this,” he said.
And while police declined to comment, officers arrived on the scene minutes after the shooting, neighbors say. In the days after the incident, several unmarked police cars could be seen patrolling the perimeter of the sprawling Pitt-Jolie compound, while two blacked-out SUVs were posted at the main gate.
“The atmosphere has changed all of a sudden,” says one local resident. But Brad’s rep says Brad and his family weren’t the targets of the shots. However, the resident adds, “You can tell their security guys are on high alert right now.”

people are so dramatic!! just beacuse it was a vehicle in the Brangelina team, doesn’t mean some nut job is trying to kill them. I didn’t find this story too spectacular. Seemed like the only reason anyone cared was because it was a celeb. Normal Americans deal with this stuff all the time and I don’t see them wanting the SWAT Team to come protect them. Maybe Brad and Angelina are finally getting a dose of reality in America. Violence is widespread and people have to deal with it all the time. I cannot even tell you how many murders have happened within 10 miles of my home. It is reality!
Wow. Crazy. I hope it’s not true. That’s absolutely horrible.
cam @ 12/05/2007 at 10:37 am I saw this story on some news thingy…not just the mag article…they said that Brad’s rep denied they were a target, but they were unsure as to how a bullet hole got in a security vehicle…I think that vehicle was for the security team, not really their personal use…so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions and begin spreading rumors that someone wants them dead…we should wait and see what the official word is…

I’m sorry, but L&S comes across as all types of creepy. First Maddox’s B-day party, and now this. Like the Zahara’s ‘biological mother’ story, how would L&S know about this and even get pics of this?
Also, isn’t it ironic that the J-Ps were criticized for going to NOLA, given the reports about how unsafe it is there and yet, this happens in Los Feliz, the alleged safe haven that Brad ‘insiders’ wanted him to return to?

Quit being such a drama queen. Jen may be annoying but she’s not responsible for her whacked out fans anymore than Brangelina are responsible for theirs.

They took Aniston’s FAKE hurt as their own real hurt, blaming the Jolie-Pitts. That is why I say, if there is any bodily harm brought on to the Jolie-Pitt, MISS ANISTON HAS BLOOD ON HER HANDS. She instigated all the hate without merit, other than her selfish purpose of promoting her D-movies cashing in on her divorce. SHAME ON YOU, Miss Aniston. You will be branded from Hollywood if anything should happened to the Jolie-Pitts.

although I don`t believe this,but from what I read in FF from X hens,I can`t even imagine what will they do If they see one of Jolie-pitts!!It will be horribale.they are the most capable people I`ve ever seen for killing someone.

Um, I didn’t say YOU wanted them dead. I said people shouldn’t spread rumors that someone is trying to kill them. A bullet hole through a vehicle does not equal death or a murder attempt. Just trying to control the craziness that will start when people read this. We should wait for the OFFICIAL word after they investigate before calling it a murder attempt or anything like that. That’s all I meant.

I think Brad’s rep did say it happened (it was on E! News this morning), but they don’t know if it was random, any motive, etc. I am sure L&S tried to provide an answer (probably lies), so I am with you Lady G. I will wait and see what the final results are before believing anything.
I would never deny that Jen has crazy fans. FF is a mess of total hatred and vileness. But to blame Jennifer Aniston for it is crazy. I guess Jodie Foster is to blame for John Hinckley Jr. too because she fed into his lust for pre-teen hookers.

A van used by the couple’s security detail was damaged in the shooting incident, a window was smashed by a bullet, but no one was injured.
Police insist Jolie and Pitt were not the targets of the gunman.
