OlderShots Fired Near Brad & Angelina’s Home
Don’t worry, they’re safe!
According to Life & Style, gunshots rang out shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 27 — just 25 feet from where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live with their four children in Los Feliz, Calif.
The gunman fired two shots, striking a Range Rover owned by a local resident and hitting the driver’s side window of a camper van used by Brad and Angie’s security team. “It was crazy,” neighbor John Martinez said. “If anybody had been in the car, he or she could’ve been killed.”
On Nov. 29, one of the couple’s bodyguards — a man who identified himself only as Brett and often sleeps in the van struck by a bullet — looked stunned as he inspected the damage. “I’m doing fine, but I don’t want to talk about this,” he said.
And while police declined to comment, officers arrived on the scene minutes after the shooting, neighbors say. In the days after the incident, several unmarked police cars could be seen patrolling the perimeter of the sprawling Pitt-Jolie compound, while two blacked-out SUVs were posted at the main gate.
“The atmosphere has changed all of a sudden,” says one local resident. But Brad’s rep says Brad and his family weren’t the targets of the shots. However, the resident adds, “You can tell their security guys are on high alert right now.”

Next week. There have been several small breaks in filming. Began 10/15 and will end around 2 months later. Angelina said she would be filming The Changeling for 2 months back at Cannes in May. So filming is right on the anticipated schedule.
Oops. Sorry gang! I read it wrong on E Bay. There’s actually 9 days left. I thought it read 9 hours. But, the good news is that the number is going up on Angie’s kite. Now over $50. :-)

I can relate.
The thing is, at the end of the day it also makes you feel good knowing that it’s not just for the sake of entertaining yourself, but that there’s someone out there who will get the help that a simple click can give. ;)

Yes, they say it’s an encore presentation tonight at 8:00 p.m. It would be a very good lead-in to their special “CNN Heroes” presentation at 9:00p.m. :-)
I felt Brad did what he came to do. He explained his project clearly and with great passion. He knew he would be subjected to some intrusions with personal questions and he handled it well. He didn’t seem rehearsed or over prepared. He was very natural and normal. He had a casual working man, father, partner,kind of vibe going. He was humble, bashful, passionate, sweet, intelligent, sexy, driven and profound. His appeal was geniune, and universal. He was protective of his family. And yet passionately open about his desire to help those that were forgotten and left behing. It was a good interview. Peace.

I thought brad was so real and sincere on the LK show. he was very humble and kind, and his concern was moving. i love that he uses his celebrity which can be daunting as he has said before, to a greater good. very admirable.

What I meant is that their answers were not dictated or scripted so it wont be coming good like a JFK or MLK. A scripted answer will be very good but has no meaning to the bearer.

Exactly. It’s a brilliant idea. I heard an interview with the creator of the site, and it’s just amazing how one person can come up with an idea that can affect so many people in such a positive way. Just like Brad’s Make It Right project. :-)

I loved the LK interview with Brad last night. I have
so much respect for Brad and what he is doing for the victims of the Katrina disaster. I am also even more thoroughly convinced that he and Angie were meant to be and will be together for a very long time, and that pleases me very much.

I hope Brad is successful in this campaign.
It’s sad how often the media forgets a tragedy after all the hype and the drama has already been exhausted.
I’m glad there are high profile people like him that actually want to highlight issues like these.
Also, I hope the media doesn’t treat Iraq and Afghanistan the same way.
I know it’s quite far off, but when it’s all said and done, it will take years, if not decades, before the US government can fully build a reliable government in those countries. Hopefully, while they try to solidify that situation they won’t forget the casualties of the wars, especially those displaced, abandoned or separated people in each faction of those societies.

I don’t know much about BP’ past and I read that he has said things in the past and then done the opposite, and we don’t know the future, but he is speaking as a man with four kids now, who is going to be forty-four soon, so I think we can be optimistic that it is his plan to be in this relationship for keeps and that he means what he said.

Brad and Angelina have said that “they were only starting”, that they wanted more kids, several times before and that didn’t stop the rumours. The rumours will never stop because there are people that don’t want them together, that envy them… so nothing Brad or Angelina say or do will stop anything.
Michael Winterbottom describes it well:
What was it like doing business with Brad and Angelina? ‘Surprisingly easy, though she is so striking looking - this almost unnatural beauty - I did feel a bit tongue-tied in her presence at first. I still get a thrill when I get an email from Brad - I just got one a few minutes ago.’ Over dinner that night he tells me about when he had dinner with Brad and Angelina in Cannes. ‘I was talking to my daughter on the mobile and mentioned I was sitting next to Brad. She didn’t believe me, so I handed the phone over to Brad, who spoke to her. It is weird the way rumours follow that couple around. They are clearly very much in love, yet a couple of days after that meal I heard someone saying they were splitting up, and it was so clearly not the case.”

Passing Through you are obviously not a christian. It is wrong to have children and not be married. Brad and Angie have no reason for not getting married except they don’t want to. Sorry but that is wrong. Buy the way this is not about Jennifer although I know that you are obsessed with her, this is about Brad and Angie and the fact hat they won’t get married. Jennifer has nothing to do with them now (only in your head of course). Brad and Angie are big people and should know right from wrong, they need to get married. Having kids without marriage is wrong.

You know, ShitzySpamboTigerEtcGal? I usually just give you a smart-assed answer and move on to the next post, but I’m going to do something I rarely do - address you as if you were a sane human being.
SSTEG (that’s short for ShitzySpamboTigerEtcGal cuz I’m not going to keep typing that out!) - Let me just address this, “you are obviously not a a Christian” statement. To which I say, NEITHER ARE YOU. If you were you wouldn’t be such a judgemental, sanctimonious, overbearing hypocrite and force YOUR beliefs onto others. If God didn’t want people having children out of wedlock, he’d have fixed that long ago, don’t you think? He hasn’t, therefore he’s cool with it. Unless, of course, you’re an evolutionist, which for the most part flies in the face of Christianity. So I guess next you’ll do a Mike Huckabee on us and get all adamant that evolution is bunk.
Here’s the problem with Christianity - not everyone believes, whether I do or not is beside the point. Not everyone subscribes to the teachings of the bible, which is written by man, not God, so don’t even freaking go there. There are other religions on this planet that don’t involve YOUR VISION OF GOD, which have managed to survive for thousands of years without your approval. Silly of them, I know, but there you have it. So what you perceive as being a sin isn’t a sin to others. So stop foisting YOUR beliefs on Brad and Angie - two people who have admitted publicly to NOT having an affinity for organized religion of any particular denomination.
Secondly, I’m not obsessed with X. However, YOU ARE…which makes making fun of her all that much more fun. You’re the one who spends all day here blogging under various and sundry names defending X and injecting her into everything Brad & Angelina do. Luckily for you several of us are more than willing to rag on X from now until the cows come home. As long as you are here pissing and moaning about the lives of two fully grown adults who’s lives are none of your business, the more you give us free reign to do the same about someone YOU OBVIOUSLY LIKE as well as yourself.
So, blog away. Have at it with your seemingly unending bag of names. We’ll be waiting here to swat away the flies that come with your steaming piles of cow patties. You should just consider yourself lucky that this isn’t Perez or Dlisted where the posters aren’t quite so nice when they make fun of people. You may think we’re harsh, but sweetie, WE are mild in comparison.
