Keira Knightley covers up her bits with suspenders in the December 2007/January 2008 issue of Interview Magazine. Here are some highlights from Keira’s interview:
How was the photo shoot? We ended by taking my clothes off again. How does that always happen?
Why do you think? I don’t know. Because I say yes, I suppose.
Did you relate to the Hollywood-glamour thing when you were growing up? I think it’s wonderful to have those aesthetic fantasies. Those films pretend that you can wake up in the morning with bright red lipstick and perfect false eyelashes and hair; I like that.
There were so many species of loss in [your upcoming film Atonement]—there’s the loss of a girl, the loss of a woman, the loss of a love. Which did you relate to the most? All of them. That’s the power of it. Everybody has regrets. Everybody feels guilty about something, though hopefully not for something as bad as what happens in the movie. But that’s what is wonderful about the book and the film—you understand where these people are coming from. The situation may be completely different from ones I’ve experienced or that most people have experienced, but the core emotions are the same—that we all make mistakes, and sometimes we’re horrendous to each other. It’s the Robbie character [played by James McAvoy] that I find truly heartbreaking, because at the beginning he’s really Christ-like in his goodness—he’s a selfless, perfect person—and in a funny way I don’t think we can ever handle it when someone is that good, so what we do is destroy them.

Not a huge fan of this photoshoot, but Keira is just awesome. Not only is she stunning, but she has the personality, intelligence, sense of humor and good nature to match. A class act all the way.
Has anyone else noticed how stumpy and rather chunky her legs are. She isn’t often photographed with her legs showing. I know someone who saw her in the street in Soho NYC and he said he was surprised to see she had a very long, lean torso and short, stumpy legs.
Regina, I think Keira has a contract with Chanel for one of their perfumes, hence the Chanel gear. She probably gets it free by the truckload.

She has a unique body and face, lovely most of the time- but here she looks hideous. The makeup, the hair, the outfit, the way the suspenders press on her breasts like that, the pose….who did she piss off?
Also, while she certainly has a personality and is normal in most regards that doesn’t make the whining, which is constant, any less annoying. If I knew her in real life I’d tell her to STFU already.

keira is awesome. the photoshoot is kind of random, so I won’t be picking up this issue, but I love KK nevertheless! I love how she doesn’t have a perfect body but doesn’t give a **** about that since her film work is more important to her. You haters can have your ideal-bodied but boring Jessica Albas and their D-movies. I (and other fans) appreciate Keira’s uniqueness, spunk and hard-working ethic.

Why wear suspenders when spaghetti straps would do? In other words, don’t bother posing half-nude, Keira, until you actually have something to show. Maybe in a few years, if you’ve filled out a bit more?

I think every person out there who is bitter and jealous and who is complaining about her should learn to get a life and get over the fact that she is younger, sexier and richer than each and every one of you.
