- Nicole Richie has been granted a leave of absence from her court-mandated anti-drinking-and-driving class. According to Life & Style, Nic’s flack says anyone who is pregnant or has medical issues is allowed to take a leave. But sources say there are two pregnant women in the same school.
- Dennis Quaid and his wife are suing Baxter Healthcare, the makers of the anti-coagulant drug Heparin, saying that confusing packaging led to his newborn twins receiving a massive overdose last month. Quaid’s suit claims that the 10,000-unit bottle looks nearly identical to the 10-unit bottle and that three children died in Indiana due to a similar mixup. The suit, filed in Chicago, seeks more than $50,000 in damages.

I am glad to here Dennis Quaid’s twins are doing better but they should not be sueing the makers of Heparin. SUE THE DARN HOSPITAL QUAID. That’s where the blame lies., with a bunch of incompetent and illiterate staff.
