Also, for all that have the audacity to make fun of this family’s weight… There is a problem of obesity, yes, in America… but you can refrain (yes it is possible) from commenting your “medical” opinions and post something a little more positive.

Just because you see people different than you doesn’t mean you have the right or the education to preach about obesity. There are millions of people sick with heart disease that are not obese.. Don’t pretend that you said that because you care either, the motive is your ugly, calous, critical hearts.

Ask yourselves, is it possible in your nature to find something nice to post on someone that you’re not a fan of? Or people that you don’t like in general?

PS at 330 pounds I had good blood pressure and my cholesterol was outstanding! I had sleep apnea however and Nikki has said she has suffered from this for over 3 years, so people her weight IS AFFECTING her negatively. Any snoring is abnormal in case you didn’t know and she’s a heavy snorer.

You can’t say that because her Blood Pressure or cholesterol is normal that she’s healthy. THat obese hawiian singer who sang at the end of “Meet Joe Black” was on Oprah claiming that he was in great health because his blood pressure was good and so on, he was 29 and died of a massive heart attack 3 months later. You never know who’s really healthy and who’s not. Since she has much of her organs drowning in adipose tissue (fat), she’s putting a strain on herself and if she doesn’t do something about it she will unfortuntely pay the price later, that she can count on. Not in only in cardiac or respitory problems but with knee, back, and joint pain. Our bodies were not designed to carry around that much weight.

Me, congratulations in losing weight first of all…
But Nikki is not and does not look even.. close to 300 lbs… although what you’re saying is somewhat correct… she’s not as bad as you were before. LOL, and like you said, we don’t know whether a person is unhealthy or not… so that proves my post. Why not also point out all the athletes that have died of cardiac arrests and were pretty healthy. Or knee joints??? Come on, our bodies give out on us one way or another, yes even healthy runners have knee problems.

I’m not saying Obese people are healthy… I’m saying, just because this family is overweight does not give anyone the right, most specially those that are not Doctors, to just diagnose these people because of how they look. You said it yourself…

And by the way, JJ’s site isn’t a medical site for Pete’s Sakes… LOL, if you want to preach about medical issues find a site that’s more appropriate :)

Nikki supporters, don’t lose heart, there are many un-shallow people out there that appreciate this talented, beautiful girl :) I’m sure that there are other good people out there that can see past the outward appearance and find the good in people and post. :)

I am a Nikki supporter. That’s why I posted what I posted. I don’t want her to be considered the pretty faced, upbeat, big girl the rest of her life. People said that about Mama Cass and ..well you know what happened to her.

As far as me losing weight…when I was her age I was much thinner than she is, I was still over weight a little but not as big as her by no means..she’s also short, I’m 5ft 10inches. I’m just saying, I wish she would start eating healthier. Look at Rikki Lake..when she played the EXACT SAME role as Nikki, people said the EXACT SAME things about her..now Rikki Lake has lost the weight and even Rikki said it’s the best thing she’s ever done and she had wished she would have done it years earlier.

Unbelieveable! When did this site turn into Dr. Oz? We come here to read about our favorite actors and actresses and what they are currently doing. Whether she is over weight or not is not the issue. Hey and here’s a newsflash, skinny people die too. My friend was a marathon runner for many years and in great shape. He died last month at the age of 28…he had a heart attack.

I know I should just ignore all the assinine comments made, but I can’t! I am a person who believes that everyone deserves respect and you people just kill me. Have you people ever met Nikki? Do you have any right reason to use such rude and derogetory words about her? My guess is no, so why do you waste energy being so negative about an obviously amazing person? I just don’t get what calling her and her family horrible names is going to get you? Does it make you feel better about yourself? The whole point of being/playing Tracy Turnblad is that you are fat so why point out the obvious. And now you say congrats she got her big start being fat and would never haven gotten it without the weight, but now lose it? Why? It makes no sense for her to do so if she herself doesn’t wish to. Especially when you post it for every new thread she gets, yeah the fat is still there but so is her TALENT and just like her fat that isn’t going ANYWHERE anytime soon so just get used to it!

Nikki herself says she doesn’t see the point in losing weight if this is the happiest she has ever been, and I agree. If you are happy with who you are then there is no need to make changes to appease others. She is living her life the way she choses and you can either celebrate with her or not. And if you chose not to please do it quitely in a corner and stop trying to bring down the Nikki supporter parade!

Oh and the one girl who talked about no guy in her High School would want to date or go out with her. When you show me the pie graph and statistics you took while inteviewing EVERY SINGLE GUY at her high school who knew her or of her and they all said that same thing I will believe that that many men can be that shallow. I know many are but she attended a large school on the east coast is is usually much more open to such things. So don’t talk unless you have facts to back them up. It has even been said that boys told others they found her attractive, so you really have no valid statement there. Sorry!

–But to the positive, Nikki looks fraaakin gorgeous as always! I sure wish I could pull of purple like this girl! And those flats = love! I heart flats because I do love embracing my shortness just like Nikki! We are not short we are fun sized :P But seriously I love this girl and how amazingly talented and confident she is! Nikki is a incredible person and loves who she is. Which is probably not true for alot of haters out there. When you are insecure with yourself you hate others that are comfortable with who they are.

Its okay we all have those issues. The more you hate the more you show just how unhappy you are and thats a shame!

Woot for the Hairspray grammy nom!!! They have some steep competiion with ‘Dreamgirls’ and ‘Across The Universe’ (all of them are FAMAZING soundtracks that I constantly listen to) but I think they can pull it off.

Your right Sally, it IS interesting indeed! Almost everytime Nikki has been in LA Zac has disappeared from the limelight. So who knows if they are hanging out or not while she is in town…seeing as how the paps haven’t gotten any pics of either of them. It’s the moments the paps don’t catch that mean the most I reckon. ;)

Another thing interesting is that when Ms H is out of town, there aren’t as many Zac sightings or pics. But when she is, there is all the time. It’s interesting how JJ went from having pics almost everyday so not having any for a while.

And, I have also noticed that there aren’t many pics of Zac when Nikki is in town. It’s happened several times. And, that there have been no new pics of Zac since Ms. H has been in Washington. It makes one wonder who gives the paps their information. We’ll see if there is an explosion of Zac pics in the next few days, with her return to town, and birthday. (speaking of birthdays, thinking back to Zac’s birthday, the only photos that came from his birthday (besides that meeting earlier in the day and the posing with the card) were from his dinner, and it was just the 2 of them. Not a party, nothing with his family. It seems that those things can be kept private, because they aren’t publicity-worthy. hmmm
