The January 2008 issue of ELLE feature Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham.
This is the photo shoot Victoria did in Paris, France back in October. See picture set one, two and three. She even blogged about it shortly thereafter!
Here are some highlights from Posh’s interview with Elle:
On sleeping in the buff: “I sleep naked. You don’t sleep with David Beckham. (giggles) I’m going to be naked if I’m getting in bed with him every night.”
On being the odd girl out at school when she was chubby and pimply: “They were literally picking things up out of the puddles and throwing them at me. And I just stood there, on my own. No one was with me. I didn’t have any friends. People would push me around, say they were going to beat me up after school, chase me. It was miserable, my whole schooling, miserable. I tried to be friends with people, but I didn’t fit in. So I kept myself to myself.”
On her major future in 2008: “Someone told me I’m going to feature big this year with the drag queens. I’m so camp! I’m such a gay man trying to get out. I don’t give a s— what anybody thinks.”
On her 5-year-old middle son: “Romeo is a performer. He loves High School Musical. I’m Gabriella to his Troy.”

Oh my gosh Helena! I thought the exact same thing… but, I’m guessing she means that she sings all of Gabriella’s parts. That doesn’t seem weird but right off the bat reading that… it’s like “ummm” lol.

So utterly FAKE! Can any of you say AIRBRUSH???- that’s the reason she comes across as looking half-way decent on the cover- Geez- you’ve all seen ebough of her to know that she is donw-right HIDEOUS!
As for her son’s comment- I seriously doubt that- how many five-year-olds do you know (especuially boys) that are into HSM? Not likely- anyone who knows anything about boys’= knows that they are into: action figures, spider-man, batman, power rangers, star wars, etc… certainly NOT HSM! What an absolute FAKE! She will SAY ANYTHIHNG to see herself splashed all over the media and in print– She’s DISGUSTING!
Agree with u Ja right - She is so fake. This photo of her is so airbrushed - she certainly does not look this good. She’s ugly, fake, and as u say will say anything to get into the media. Do u know wot allthis buzz is about her now, because the spice girls tour, she of course has GOT TO BE CENTRE OF ATTENTION - so media blitz about HER HER HER. She cannot stand any attention away from her and her hubby. HATEHER SO MUCH THE AMERICANS ARE SO WTTHOUT ANY TASTE TO WANT TO EVEN BUY A MAGAZINE WITH HER IN IT AND TO SEE THE SPICE GIRLS - IT IS TRUE WHAT EUROPEANS SAY ABOUT AMERICANS - THEY HAVE NO TASTE IN MEN, WOMEN, MUSIC, MATTER OF FACT, THEY HAVE NO TASTE.

And, deny, considering Victoria Beckham was hugely famous in Europe (same for David Beckham) long before they came to the U.S., what you said makes absolutely no sense. (I understand, dear, it’s hard to think straight when your idiotically ranting…).
In any case, I love the cover. I feel bad for her because the reason she doesn’t smile (and she’s said this many times in the past),is because she thinks she has an ugly smile. Sadly, (and I say this as someone who does like and admire her), she’s right. It’s not an attractive smile, but I think it’s too bad she’s so self-conscious that she shuns smiling altogether.
Also, someone mentioned that she has too much self-confidence to have been bullied as a child. Actually, it’s well known that most performers (particularly actors) are insecure, and when they aren’t performing, can be very shy and introverted. So, it’s very likely that she built a “tough guy” attitude to deal with her lonliness and insecurity as a child.
I think she should give more interviews she does great with them
