Angelina Jolie tops Empire Magazine’s Top 100 Sexiest Movie Stars. They say her sexiest moment was “beating the hell out of Brad Pitt in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and then banging the hell out of him by way of apology.”
And here’s what Empire had to say: “Jolie seems to have been precision built to turn cinema audiences into drooling wrecks. The pneumatic figure, the feline eyes, the lips that could have been stung by several hives of bees. Simply unimprovable.”
As for partner Brad Pitt, he came in at #7. We learn his high school nickname was “Pitt bull” and here’s what Empire had to say about the stud: “So empirically good-looking that you’d have to hate him if he wasn’t clearly such a nice guy with it. The eyes, the smile, the rippling six-pack despite being the wrong side of 40 – he’s the man men dream of being and women dream their man could be.”

LOL! I was down there this evening around 5 p.m. It took me nearly half an hour to walk seven blocks down Fifth Avenue from 57th Street to 50th Street. I saw the line going around the corner waiting to get into Abercrombie and Fitch, of all places, and wondered WTF were they selling in there… maybe 50 inch plasma TVs for $49.95??

OT, i know the saying “to each his own”, and i fully understand and respect the sentiment. with that saying, i cant for the life of me see the fascination with david beckham. he has a great body, i will give him that, but his face always has this look like he is smelling something unpleasant. and that voice, my god, he needs to ease up on the helium. and last but not least, can he and his wife please stop with the constant posing. they are always on.

MANILA, Philippines — Angelina Jolie’s help is being sought by a left-wing Filipino farmers group that wants to call attention to thousands of rural people who have been displaced by increased military operations.
The Farmers’ Movement of the Philippines, or KMP, wants the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to send the 32-year-old actress _ a UNHRC goodwill ambassador since early 2001 _ to look into the rising number of internal refugees in the country.
The KMP wants Jolie to witness “the real situation of internally displaced people in the country,” KMP officer Willy Marbella said in a statement Friday.
More than 10,000 people have been forced to leave their homes this year alone because of increased military actions and threats, he said.
The military blames insurgents for the problem. It is battling communist rebels, who have been fighting for a Maoist-led state for 39 years, and the 11,000-strong Moro Islamic Liberation Front that has been struggling for two decades for self-rule in the southern Philippines.
Lt. Col. Bartolome Bacarro, the armed forces spokesman, said he couldn’t confirm nor contradict the figures cited, but stressed that the military operations aim to run after rebels, not displace civilians. Soldiers are told to avoid engaging guerrillas in populated areas, he said.
