Teeny tiny Fergie country giant Taylor Swift stand face-to-face during the announcing of the 50th annual Grammy Award Nominations held at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre on Thursday in Hollywood, Calif.
Kanye West snagged the most nominations with eight, Amy Winehouse scored six, and the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and T-Pain each earned five nods.
Akon, Dierks Bentley, Chris Daughtry, Feist, Tim McGraw, John Newton, Ne-Yo, Rihanna and Bruce Springsteen received four each.
“I’m honored to be nominated for this award, best female pop vocal,” said Fergie Ferg. “For me, this is most prestigious award that I could have been nominated for because it’s about the vocal, and it was a very personal time, so I’m thrilled.”
The 50th annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 on CBS.

I was actually sad to read this headline Jared, I didn’t think you were the type to go an stereotype a certin group of people.
Did you know the term “Midget” means “less of” when you call someone a Midget it means your calling them less of a person.
Little people hate the word, and it is concidered hurtful to use it.

i cannot believe some people are saying that “being tall is not feminine” . What crap! That’s like saying not having one arm is not feminine or something - i mean she obv was born to be tall not something she can help.

woah (and others) I totally agree with you! Who cares about height, it doesn’t make a woman more or less feminine. To hear some of you talk, all women should be the same height in order to be acceptable? Let Taylor be tall, she’s beautiful. Let Fergie be short, short is good too. I’m short, I’m 5′2″ and I wouldn’t mind being a little shorter. Tall women should be proud of their size, and whatever men don’t have enough confidence to be seen with a tall woman don’t deserve her anyway.

You people are stupid to say that Fergie is a midget. She is what pretty much every woman in Hollywood is. Reese Witherspoon is 5′2. Halle Berry is 5′4, 5′6 in heels. Mylie Cyrus is 5′4. Carrie Underwood is 5′4. C’mon. Taylor is freakishly tall. Both women are pretty. Fergie is 15 years older than Taylor.

Im 5′10 and I wear heels all the time. I love it. I used to hate being tall but I’ve grown into it. It’s all about how you carry yourself and confidence. Everyone is different. Fergie and Taylor, different. One of them isnt better than the other, there are just preferences. So what? I’ve had all different heights of men be attracted to me. From 5′4-6′9. I prefer a man whos at least 6′3 because I love to wear my high heels, and those men almost always tell me “gosh you are a nice height, we fit really well together”. Theres no reason to be ugly or hateful, they’re both very beautiful women.
saying anything over 5′8 isnt feminine is ridiculous. Female models have to be at LEAST 5′7. I’m the same age as taylor and only an inch shorter than her. I give her props for wearing heels, i do it all the time, i love my height and wouldnt change it for the world. Taylor is a beautifiul and talented girl and so is fergie, i think they were calling her a midget COMPAIRED to Taylor because of how incredibly tall she is.

I’m the same height as taylor and almost her age. I feel down about being tall all the time because I feel it is not feminine but then I look at her I think, wow, she’s so pretty and gorgeous! So Taylor Swift is gorgeous. But there isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t wish I was Fergie’s height. She has really sexy curves that guy would find attractive. I think the guys that complain about tall girls are probably really short, because no guys that I know are that shallow. They’re probably just getting their anger out because they are short and they hate it! It’s not bad to be a short guy. Easier to reach the shorter girls!
