Beyonce - “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”
During last night’s Movies Rock, Beyonce (in Elie Saab) opened up the show and sang a rousing rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” most famously performed by Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale in the 1939 musical fantasy film The Wizard of Oz.
Naturally, Beyonce received a standing ovation after her spectacular performance.

umm ..then why listen?.. idiot- racist.
why are you on her thread and listening to her sing?..you say you hate her so much, you sound ignorant yourself. youv’e already said she looks like a monkey,,,and you called another poster ‘a bitter black woman”.you are the one who has issues, I’d say ..racist and stupid that’s you. your name says it all..dummy..
no one beats Katharine McPhee’s version. i agree with the comments that say beyonce forces it too much.
Bey rocked- it- go womannnnnnnnnnn!!!
Love BK’s voice.
I thought it was great.

Haha! You Beyoncé fans have to insult others (others meaning people who sang it better) to make Beyonce look better, well it’s not working!
Absolutely wonderful! It gave me chills. What a truly incredible artist! I love her music.
You must mean folks have to insult Beyonce to make themselves feel better!LOL

omg - leona lewis’ version on you tube is a mlllion times better - beyonce butchered it but the arrangement was a bit strange which isn’t rlly her fault.
Beautiful song, beautiful lady and what a lovely voice.
Yes, Judy Garland DEFINITELY did it better. I’m glad she didn’t start dancing! Phew!
Sounds good to me
Not feeling the dress the dress tho
catherine macohee cant sing as well as bey, christina, mimi..puleese,, she should stick to what she does best..umm..what is that.. bey did well.
LEONA LEWIS’ WAS A MILLION TIMES BETTER. CHECK HER ON YOUTUBE.COM! LEONA IS A BILLION TIMES BETTER THAN BEYONCE. LEONA SINGS WITH EMOTION, BEYONCE DOES NOT!!
The dress is an Elie Saab, and is not from her own line.
I’m proud of her, she stuck to her lower register- one she rarely sings in, didn’t oversing/overbelt the song-instead letting it build to a nice clear finish, and she didn’t try to sing it like Patti LaBelle does it, OR like Judy did it, instead she did her thing and made it her own. I’ve got no complaints! Good stuff.
WOW such haters here, im pretty sure half of you arent as pretty or cant sing as well as she can…so STOP HATING!
she can’t sing or act, i didn’t care 4 it, neither can that dum umbrella idiot rifake ahhhh.ewwwwwwwwww.
Fantastic! She is just incredible. She is so pretty.
Beautiful!
Yikes… she messed up the lyrics! But hey, if I were on stage in front of hundreds of folks, I am sure I would not hold up half as good as she can. I think she should stick to her usual pop genre… this DOES NOT suit her.
That was unbelievable!
hayden sings better than this has been.
^^Oh God, first we had Zanessa fans invading every thread, and now this “Hayden P.” loser………….
Beyonce is a beautiful woman with an incredible voice. She did great.
Very disappointing performance. Garland did it the best with her clear amazing voice. Beyonce’s dress was hideous.
