I think if it were a showmance then they would go out of their way to be seen arm-in-arm together on the red carpet, at popular Hollywood venues, clubs, etc. In actuality they are doing just the opposite. So if this IS just for show, then they need new publicists.

On the other hand, if they are indeed a couple but just trying to maintain some semblance of privacy, then I’m wondering why those of you who are Hayden fans would deliberately hurt his feelings by insulting his girlfriend.

Oh I forgot to add. To help die out this stupid subject. If Hayden is so private and I heard Rachel does not like talking about her personal relationships. You know this game they are playing with the media like, are they an couple or they just friends? This is drawing a lot more attention to them as, if they would come out proclaim their true feelings for each other. So, Maybe they are not so private after all. I think they love all this silly attention. I would just ignore the next thread on these two then!

I agree their relationship is all a publicity stunt to hype Jumper. They know Haydens career is almost over and they are desperate for publicity.

Such a brilliant post but then you dont have to really press on something that was way soo & too OBVIOUS since this CRAPPY tale had began!

THEY ARE DATING,SHE RECENTYLY SAID SHE IS

Ok. Let’s take a cold, impartial look at this. They aren’t dating and I come to my conclusion based on what is seen. One: They DON’T hang out enough or are spotted enough to be considered a couple. Everytime they are caught it’s always something that can be passed off as friends. He picked dropped and picked her up from shopping. She picked him up from the airport. They have lunch. She meets his brother who you can tell from his body language in those series of photos doesn’t care for her much. The Awake premiere of course where she didn’t behave very much like a supportive girlfriend and actively tried to steal the spotlight away from the film’s stars and get more attention. You have to be blind not to see that. If you pay any attention to any other actor/actresses’ significant other, you will notice that they most of the time get off the red carget ASAP and let their partner have it to promote their project. They head inside the venue and wait for them to get inside or they stand back and let their partner be in the forefront. Did Rachel do that? No. We can all agree on that. A person truly dating someone does that. Then there’s the fact that Rachel is always in LA and not with Hayden who confessed he was in Canada on his farm for the majority of the summer. But, was Rachel, his alleged girlfriend who doesn’t have any projects to truly work on with him. No. She’s been in LA caught shopping or out and about A LOT. Now, let’s go over how the paparazzi works. They are in it for the money. They want that one money shot that will pay their rent for the next year. They want drama, scandal, wild, the giving of the finger, the bad behavior, the outburst of annoyance and anger of being bugged b/c, let’s face it, that’s what unfortunately sells the photos therefore the papers and gets ppl to log onto these blogs. So…would someone with no major projects in the works other than one that is coming out in February and mostly shops be able to do that. If she was Paris Hilton, yes but Hilton also gets into catfights over guys and clubhops like crazy dancing on tabletops not to mention wears like no clothes. Does Rachel do that? No. So, how does her photographs sell? She would be considered one of the most boring ppl in Hollywood and not worthy of being even followed if spotted. They would only half-hearted look for her in that particular area in which she was spotted and if not found, they would move on. Not worth the effort of tracking down since she wouldn’t deliver that all so important money shot. So how do the paps know where she is and in so remote places where the paps DON’T hang out b/c time is money to them and they want gurantees of running into a celebrity? A lot of ppl have already figured this oh so obvious one out. TIPPED. But why, oh why, hasn’t Hayden been in most of those tipped photo ops? Why hasn’t he been around his alleged “girlfriend” that often? Why has/did he choose to be in Canada for the majorit of the time when he was supposely with someone? If someone falls in love or is smitten with someone, isn’t it only human nature to be around them constantly and not choose to be in another country then the person they have a thing for happens to be? Why hasn’t Hayden been pretty much doing the same thing if it’s all promotion for the movie Jumper? Wouldn’t they both be in all those photo ops together, every single time even though they are trying not to make it look like they are dating? Wouldn’t they be always together and practically attached to the hip and even kissing for the paps if it was a publicity stunt for the promotion of Jumper like it is said it was w/Hayden and Sienna for Factory Girl? Wouldn’t there be more crap gossip oh so conveniently coming out from the filming of Jumper about them especially after Rachel and Adam Brody called it quits? How Hayden comforted her about the break up like he did for Sienna? Yes, they are private ppl but ppl on film sets talk. And, the attraction would’ve been there for them to see and talk about. You can’t keep a secret on film sets b/c everyone is like family and they see and know everything. To close of a community. Most of the time, depending if it’s on location, the cast and crew are the only ppl they half way know and can hang out with and talk to. That stuff would’ve already came out long before now especially if this whole thing was a publicity stunt for Jumper. But, it is a publicity stunt. I whole heartedly agree. But, not one Hayden or the filmmakers of Jumper are in on. Their ends don’t add up b/c if they were, they would be more involved. No, dear ppl, this publicity stunt is solely Rachel’s and her’s alone. No one else. All the little bits and pieces of this public puzzle only point to her b/c there’s too much left out and missing for it not to be solely her. And, the reason for it is oh so obvious. No one is hiring her. Ppl are right out that, a complete hopeless bull’s eye. But, it’s not for being famous for nothing. She’s trying to prove to the ppl who matter in Hollywood that she’s a hot commodity and worthy of roles. That her pics sell so ppl want to see her on the screen. It’s an old, overused tactic that most of the time doesn’t work. She’s trying to get ppl to offer her roles without auditioning for them b/c has anyone caught her to or from an audition? So far, no. Only out and about, shopping, going to the gas station, shopping, having lunch, shopping, at the grocery store, shopping, furniture shopping, shoe shopping, at the Home Depot, shopping…..you get the point. But, no auditions. Isn’t that funny. An actress with no major projects hence no work in the works not caught auditioning for work. Again, except for a very few of these excursions, where has Hayden been? And, the trip to the Carribean…if it was a vacation, why were they flying business class? Wouldn’t they have been in first-class or, at the very least, coach if they were vacationing? Who, even business executives fly business class for anything but business? Just some food for thought.

The other outings,I was contacted by her publiscist twice to take pictures of her,and one that put me off the board as dh’s desperate is when we were assigned to take pictures of her in LA turkey shopping,while she’s wearing “H” pendnt/necklace of Haydens annicial!2 to 3 photograhers were assigned,and we were assigned the time and where,the day before and a reminder that morning

Great point about the willingness to throw money around minus one simple fact. Hayden’s not known for doing that. And, I didn’t just say coach. I also said first-class. Go onto the airlines websites like Delta, Southwest, any of them and do a little pricing. A lot of times first-class tickets costs more than business class with most airlines. With so many business travelers nowadays, they do get the better prices since they have to travel so much than first-class does. So, if they really wanted to throw money around, they would’ve gone first-class. Besides, first-class has better perks than business class does so if the whole celebrity thing was the reasoning behind that one, again, they would’ve wanted the better treatment and perks of first-class than business class. Especially for a “vacation.” Another fault to that logic, no offense intended whatsoever, is Hayden’s not known for throwing money around. He’s bought what, maybe four or five big ticket items since he got into the biz? A farm, the farm equipment, a ferrari, maybe also a jaguar for himself but definately one for his mom, and a maybe a house in LA. Ok, maybe 6 big ticket items. That’s still far, far less than most of the other young Hollywood ppl he calls peers. If he had gone wild with the money and went on crazy shopping sprees, the store owners and employees would’ve gotten on the phone in a heartbeat saying, “‘Darth Vader’ himself was just in my store and just bought *** huge amount of money on stuff.” Or something of a similar vein. They would’ve have because quite a few ppl would then want to come in and frequent the same store as he did. Helps with business for the store. That happens all the time. Now, for the whole Jumper publicity. True, the filmmakers are starting to help out on the whole publicity thing since Jumper is, what, two months away? So, yeah, I’ll agree with you but only to the point that they are just starting it. This has been going on for how long? Early this year, the spring? Come on! That’s too far away of time for them to get into the promoting. Look how too much hype has killed films in the past. Remeber Mission Impossible: 3? We all know how that one went. It was in the $3 bin the other day and it came out last year! That should tell you something. And, by the way, Rachel’s film The Last Kiss was in the $3 bin exactly right next to it and it came out last year too. Not even joking. But, now they are getting in on it but they weren’t when all this crap started. It was all little Miss Bilson. But, can you blame the filmmakers? She’s been helping them unintentionally while she’s been trying to help herself and herself alone. Why would they start promoting a movie that wasn’t even finished production, principal photography, when all this started? They weren’t in on it at first. And, Hayden never has been on it. You can tell how much he dosn’t like her. What ppl have been calling “no chemistry” looks more like dislike. Severe dislike. Especially recently since, what, September for a fact? It’s like he’s stuck doing a horrible prison sentence. He tries to hide it but it still shows in a BIG way. As for the possible girlfriend up in Canada, now, that no one knows or can see. So, let’s not go there b/c there’s not ANYTHING to has come up about it or any stupid rumors or photos. NOTHING. And, if he does, that’s his business. True, to a certain point, you do lose a little bit of your privacy. That’s the price that’s paid to be in the biz. But, there’s a line that you just don’t cross for the sake of common decency. That’s beyond that line you don’t cross. He doesn’t flaunt it for all to see so let’s take the hint and leave it alone. If he invited it by flaunting it all over the place for all to see, that would be a differenr story b/c then he would be bring it upon himself. But, he doesn’t do that. Bilson, on the other hand, does. But, those two aren’t together as a couple even in the slightest and the most loose of the defination of the idea. She’s not willing to put the hard work necessary into her career and chooses to do this crap. That’s what everything out, the stuff she puts out there herself says.
