Celebrity Boxing Match — Round One!
The A-listers came out in droves for the early Sunday morning for the WBC welterweight title fight between Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looked quite cuddly as they drew plenty of attention. Denzel Washington cheered frantically from his seat. David Beckham looked like he was getting down with Kid Rock. Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale looked really into the fight.

I like ANGIE. I feel she deserves that. She’s honest,
hard-working, has integrity. She’s changed Brad in so many ways, and has given him what he said he always wanted and never had before. People who know her, and
there’s a lot of them, say all the best about her. Even her exes are still her friends, and love and respect her. Now that’s rare, as we know.

HELPING PEOPLE AND GIVING HER OWN MILLIONS OF $$ ??
She may be “imperfect”, as someone said up-thread.
But, she’s still more PERFECT than any of them -as a PERSON, a parent to four little children, activist and humanitarian and an actress.
HOW many can put all that in their resumes?!
I’ve seen AMH. She was UNBELIEVABLE, even better than in the movie that already brought her an Oscar. She played her friend, a real person, and made us forget that we were watching HER, Angie, probably the most recognizable face in film today. And that’s only one aspect of it. She made us cry, she was poignant. Simply superior acting, and critically acclaimed.
She will be nominated for all of the awards, she’s alredy been for some.
But, I think she also deserves to win. And to win her
second Oscar too.

guli, where are you tonight? I am thinking of you and the night we both had just seen TAOFF, and both were wild about the cinematography, especially that water scene. So, great to see the movie has been nominated in that category for the Chicago festival, huh?
I like George Clooney and would see him in anything. He is gorgeous, he has been around a long, long, time, and he is talented. Loved him in the movie with CZJ, loved him in the movie by the Farrelli Brothers, I just like him. Howev, I saw Michael Clayton, and although it was quite good, this was not a stretch at all for him. He was the same guy over and over in the string of political movies he’s starred in. I don’t get it, and I also don’t get the movie itself being singled out for distinction. However, Brad is probably very happy for him, and wishes him well. Brad has said nothing at all about the terrible hatchet job Warner did to his beautiful movie, so that makes him even more of a hero to me than he already was.
ORCHID:I don’t think there’s anyone in the world who is liked by everybody, and you are entitled to your opinion, but expressing that opinion in a thread in which YOU KNOW the overwhelming majority of posters are AJ’s fans, is inviting an argument.
You really can’t say AJ is harsh in affairs of the heart, because you don’t know the whole story. As an outsider you’re only speculating.
BP leaving his previous relationship doesn’t make AJ a homewrecker. What does it take to get through to people like you!

Brad and Angie are the biggest stars in this planet. But both are so down-to-earth and humble. amazing. love them.

Every man who ever met Angie, was her “lover”! Let’s see: Butler, Clive Owen, Colin, Daniel Craig, Olivier, Banderas, Oliver Stone, Sir Anthony, Ethan, Val Kilmer, Danzel and Morgan, and even Bill Maher and Jon Stewart!!! I am sure I missed a few!!
She’s only 32. She was married half of her adult life!
When she got Maddox, she was alone for over a year,maybe two years.
Yeah, it sounds hard to believe (as Barbara Walters told her that she thought men were in line to date her), but that’s ACTUALLY TRUE. Now she is with Brad,

Whatever happened to Brad’s past “love” life doesnt necessarily mean it will repeat in the future. It’s all people specific. People do learn from past mistakes. I’d prefer to stick with the present and be optimistic to the future. I dont have this doom and gloom outlook. To me, they love each other, and they do share the same vision, love of family and love of humanitarian works.

It’s quite possible Brad did love the X when he married her. It’s a dead certainty that by the time he met Angelina he was already sick and tired of her, tired of her lies and bullshit, tired of her controlling ways, and tired of her selfishness and narcissism.
One of the best recipes for killing a marriage is: don’t grow. That’s exactly what happened in the Pitt/Aniston merger. She was still into the HW party-premiere A-list circuit. He had grown way beyond that and she couldn’t keep up with him. By the time he met Angelina, he and Aniston had absolutely nothing in common any more.
In Angelina he’s found someone with whom he shares dreams, ideals, goals, and four beautiful children. In other words, he’s found a soulmate.
Something I don’t think Aniston with all her selfishness will ever have.

What do you expect from the mouth of a stupid woman (paltrow)? Now we all know who is stupid. Brad becomes hotter, more famous, more popular and larger than ever. But Paltrow is nobody now. Nobody cares about her anymore.

Angelina lost her mom in January of this year, and adopted another child 3 months after her mom’s death, an older child not an infant. Grief takes over your whole life when you lose someone you love, I know, and you never really recover, you just rewire your life and try to adjust to the loss and you are depressed to the max for a long long time.
Angie was so close to her mom, her mom was the one person she had been able to count on for her whole life, and in this day and age you do not imagine losing a parent at age 31 who is just in their mid 50’s. When Angie said in Marie Clare that she and James just cry at the drop of a hat I know that experience well. Add on top of that hole in your life, a new older child is adopted who must be made part of your family.
Angie has had a lot to deal with this year. Some people practically stop eating for a time and lose some weight as they come to terms with a major life occurence(this is Angie), and some people eat all the time. This is natural and normal. Angie did lose some weight, but current pixs show she is back to generally the same size she was before the last year or so. She also had a baby only months before her mom’s death, and the body after a baby is not the same as before, there have been hormonal changes.
Brad has been Angie’s anchor in her most difficult time, he is now the foundation of her life, he was there when she and James were paralyzed with grief, he did not let her down but had and has her back. Angie is more bound to Brad than she has ever been to anyone other than her late mom and her brother. Brad is Angie’s family now in every way. Angie said that this year since her mom’s death that she holds on tightly to her family, Brad and the kids are her family. Angie said very recently that Brad is her love and her most cherished friend, and she is a forthright person. She says what she means.
Anyone, like you, who attempts to negate what is Angie’s reality is an idiot of the first order.
Angie on David Letterman tonight’s rerun. He just announced it - a rerun from the time Clinton was impeached.

Saw David Letterman with Angie in 1988. She is quite young probably around 22. She is separated from JM. She has really changed over the years and have matured so much. Think that change really came about with Madd and trip to Cambodia. David’s question are really stupid they go on about her being her father and really nothing about the money “Playing by Heart” which is really a great movie. She is quite thin like she is now. Think she has always been thin until “Tombraider”.
So glad she is with Brad! Watch “Seven” last night with Brad and he is a really good actor. His part reminder me of his performance in 12 Monkeys and “Fight clue”. It is amazing how he has matured starting with “Troy”, Ocean 12, 13 and Babel”. He was very slender in his previous movies even “The Mexican” where him and Julie had no chemistry at all.
At the fight “Angie” stood out in the crowd. She is really a beauty!
So glad these two found each other. Angie seemed like a wayward child until she adopted Madd and made her journery through African and Cambodia.
Angie was 13 in 1988.

If you are an Angie fans, you knew she was very married to BBT while fiming Original sin. she angrily denied the rumors when it was brought up in the movie promotion. even Melanie defended Angie and denying those rumors.

I was channel surfing tonight and saw Angie on the David Lettermen Show. It was already towards the end and maybe got to watch her for a minute. I was able to tape that part quickly and realized that it was obviously a rerun. I did recheck the year that particular show was taped, and it said 1998 though.
