Celebrity Boxing Match — Round One!
The A-listers came out in droves for the early Sunday morning for the WBC welterweight title fight between Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looked quite cuddly as they drew plenty of attention. Denzel Washington cheered frantically from his seat. David Beckham looked like he was getting down with Kid Rock. Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale looked really into the fight.

I don’t know. Like, you, I have my doubts. It didn’t sound like her. It was an alleged exclusive, yet, they didn’t have any new pictures. And had to use a cover picture, that they altered the color of her dress, that was more than a few years old. The interviewer was allegedly on set with her, yet, they didn’t bring a photographer to get some new shots? Newsweek got some new photos of her to go along with their interview with Sean Smith, when he went to India to interview her.
UK publications of fashion magazines do have a reputation for making up interviews. Of course, people say, well, she didn’t deny it. That interview came out in January of 2007. Her mother was losing her battle with Cancer and died late that month, it’s my guess, she had other things on her mind, than a UK interview.
It funny to look at the pixs..alot of men trying to get close to Angie..and you could see Brad’s hand blocking her from them..He’s like back to f..k up dudes..this is mine..I love Brad ..always very protective of his lady..He is such a nice guy…

I know i like when he does that. I remember Beowulf premiere and their bodyguard said to fans brad is very protective of his woman.
If i have a nickel for everytime a DUMB Blind Item is attribute to Angelina… i would be RICH by now!!
Why the Haters cannot move on??, It’s unbelievable!! And this really shows that MISERABLE Haters like this “Brad lover” poster really have NO LIFE!! Poor Pathetic fools!! And the funniest part… is that this fools don’t even realize how PATHETIC they really are!! SO MOVE ON, DUMB F*CKERS!!

I have my doubts for exactly the reasons you stated.
What really threw me off was that the kind of jokes Angelina supposedly said in that interview did not sound like her at all. I have seen many of her TV interviews and read her print interviews also, and Angelina simply does not tell the type of jokes that she did in the UK Elle one.
I asked about it because that interview is used against her to this day. Even legitimate sites like Celebrity Baby blog use the quotes. I have a strong feeling it was not real. Imagine people finding out that out, then how would they attack her feelings for her daughter?

‘No Country,’ ‘Diving Bell’ are favorites of Boston film critics
Email|Print| Text size – + By Wesley Morris
Globe Staff / December 10, 2007
“No Country for Old Men,” the grisly Texas thriller Joel and Ethan Coen adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel, was voted the best film of 2007 by the Boston Society of Film Critics.
more stories like thisJulian Schnabel won the directing award for “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly,” about Jean-Dominique Bauby, the French magazine editor who has a stroke that renders him paralyzed, except for his left eye, which he blinks to communicate. The Coens came in second.
Schnabel’s film also won the foreign-language film prize and, in a close vote, was the runner-up in the best film category.
The actor award went to Frank Langella for his performance as a past-his-prime New York author in “Starting Out in the Evening.” Daniel Day-Lewis was the runner-up for his work as a bonkers oil man in “There Will Be Blood.”
Marion Cotillard’s intense incarnation of the singer Edith Piaf in “La Vie en Rose” was named best actress. Julie Christie came in second place for her work as a woman who falls in love with a fellow Alzheimer’s patient in “Away From Her.”
Javier Bardem’s psychopath with the Prince Valiant haircut in “No Country for Old Men” was named best supporting actor. Ben Foster was the runner-up for his two psychos in “3:10 to Yuma” and “Alpha Dog.”
The supporting actress award went to Amy Ryan for her performance as the worst mother of the year in “Gone Baby Gone”; Cate Blanchett’s pseudo-Bob Dylan in “I’m Not There” came in second.
The cast of the Sidney Lumet thriller “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead” won the ensemble award, with the casts of “I’m Not There” and “Superbad” tying for second place.
“Crazy Love,” Dan Klores’s film about a toxic marriage, was voted best documentary. “The King of Kong,” Seth Gordon’s film about two rival arcade-gamers was the runner-up.
Brad Bird won the screenplay award for “Ratatouille” ahead of Ronald Harwood’s adaptation of Bauby’s memoir, “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.”
Janusz Kaminski’s inventive camerawork in “Diving Bell” won the cinematography award, while Roger Deakins came in second for his work on three movies: “The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford,” “No Country for Old Men,” and “In the Valley of Elah.”
Ben Affleck won the new filmmaker award for “Gone Baby Gone.” The runner-up was Tony Gilroy for “Michael Clayton.”
Every year, the society recognizes the best rediscovered films. This years winners were “Girl With a Suitcase,” “Killer of Sheep,” “The Pumpkin Eater,” “White Mane,” and “Entre la Mer et L’eau Douce.”
The year’s best film series were also cited: the Films of Charles Burnett, the New Romanian Cinema, and Independents Week: New American Independent Cinema 2007 at the Harvard Film Archive; Michael Haneke: A Cinema of Provocation at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Archive; Signore & Signore: Leading Ladies of Italian Cinema 1941-1977 at the MFA; and Welcome to the Grindhouse at the Brattle Theatre.
The Boston Society of Film Critics has been giving out its awards since 1980. For the first time, the winners will be honored in a ceremony on Jan. 27

Whatever happened to Brad’s past “love” life doesnt necessarily mean it will repeat in the future. It’s all people specific. People do learn from past mistakes. I’d prefer to stick with the present and be optimistic to the future. I don’t have this doom and gloom outlook. To me, they love each other, and they do share the same vision, love of family and love of humanitarian works.
——-
I agree! People learn from past mistakes. People grow. I do think both BP and AJ have found the one, and that they both want and will do their very best to make it work. They have no time to pay attention to what detractors say because there aren’t enough hours in the day. They’re busy with their kids, careers and projects.
I have been wondering why tabloids and their readers want B&A to split. If tabloids need to fill their pages, and their readers like to tear people apart, there are so many other couples. Why this one?

Hell, people do cut and paste jobs of old interviews of hers/theirs and present them as new. When the quotes are, literally, years old.
Just goes to show that they don’t know their gossip subjects, at all. And that’s why they’re always wrong about these two.

Denzel phoned in his usual performance. He’s not award worthy at all. American Gangster, in general, was a weak film, and I’m glad it looks like it might not make it into the Oscar race. There are much better films out there.
+++++++++++++++++++
Get out of town! Denzel kicked ass in American Gangster. AG was a very good, but not great movie. Like I said earlier - some of the Russell Crowe parts were unnecessary, but overall, the performances were excellent.
278 merrick @ 12/10/2007 at 9:58 pm You really can’t say AJ is harsh in affairs of the heart, because you don’t know the whole story. As an outsider you’re only speculating.
……………………………………..
So is there a site where people can maybe not like certain things about Angelina, or does everyone here have to agree to like her….HEY I don’t give a hoot about an argument, I’m just stating MY Opinion, just like yours, but if it says somewhere WE MUST ALL HAVE THEN SAME OPINION, THEN I’ll Leave so you can all have you’re LOVE FEST with no opposing point of view. And actually I’m not a fan of Jennifer Anniston.
I’m more a fan of Angelina.
——-
There are many neutral sites where you can state opposing opinions. Yes, it would be best, for yourself, if you leave.
I’m not a fan of x either. I think she’s limited. Brad outgrew her. I’m surprised he stayed so long. Lucky for him he met AJ.
Haters accuse/blame AJ. I think Brad did the pursuing! Haters will say AJ ‘worked’ on him. I bet ALL women ‘work’ on him. He and AJ just clicked. They were meant to hook up. Now they are six!!!

jessie @ 12/11/2007 at 11:36 am - ITA….
It wasn’t an outstanding performance for Denzel or Russell.
++++++++++++++++++
Geez…I can’t believe all of these negative comments about Denzel in AG. I thought it was his best work since “Hurricane” - definitely better than Training Day, which he won Best Actor for.
# 1157 CLINIQUA @ 12/11/2007 at 12:16 pm
Hey PT, so they’re still together eh? That means she most likely is doing rehabilitative therapy for her ‘injury’ still. When that’s done, George is gone. She probably has had therapy extended 4-5 times. muahahaha.
++++++++++++
Yeah, she’s still around. The only thing she’s rehabbing is her bank account. I wonder if she charges a flat rate or by the hour? Cuz, you know, Porgie prolly wouldn’t want to pay for the time when they’re not together and she’s off stroking some other old goat’s…ego.

Yes, I saw it on TV.
#363: I’d like to see how Kelly Ripa would react to Brad after her attitude towards the triangle. Wasn’t she for the pity party hostess and had dissed Angie or did she diss Brad too? Does anybody remember?

very sad. Will this end?Who knows. So scary.I really wish everyone EVERYONE peace this xmas.
passing through, i agree that denzel tore up the screen in american gangster. he did a great job with that character.
sad news #412, that is so tragic. many prayers for the victims and their families.
i am really curious what papa brad plan for the 5 loves of his life this year for xmas.If he wants to share it with us.And then again -just 5(6?)weeks after xmas is valentine. He will find again the right gift.I am sure.Must be busy planning, shopping, deciding…so deserved positive time. They never switch off but i hope they will and for a little time think of only for themselves.B’cos they never do.As they always think of all people in need. But anyone :doesn’t Angie deserve for a little time of the year to switch of?She does. And to be treated.I know she doesn’t mind. She puts family and charity first to her own needs. She deserve a break and we all will understand it.’cos no other person does as much as Angie.
this is very tragic for these victims and their families.prayers and thoughts sent their way.
