Christian Bale @ Balehead Marathon
Did you even know such an event existed? Me neither!
Christian Bale attends the Balehead Marathon at The Aero Theatre on Saturday in Santa Monica, Calif. to discuss some of his past films–2007’s 3:10 To Yuma, 2007’s I’m Not There (new Bob Dylan quasi-biopic), 2005’s Batman Begins and 2000′ American Psycho.
Bale, 33, reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Dark Knight, which is set for a July 18, 2008 release.

I just saw him in 3.10 to Yuma and he gives a quite wonderful performance. Great actor and seems to be such a quiet unassuming person.

Ugh I wish I’d known about that. I definitely decided last minute against driving down there this weekend. Bale is Brilliant, but maybe it’s for the best because I think I might have hyperventilated or something if I’d been there.
He looks good no matter what! he doesn’t have to dress up and i love the scruffy look! i wish i could of been there
Many fans including Batman fans during the Begins and TDK shoot that Bale is a jerk to the fans,even female fans esp some reporters and paparazzis. Personally he is not looking good. Being a private person does not mean he or she is nice.

I love CB, he’s such a brilliant actor. So glad he is very private and low key, unlike those other boring actors who is always on TV and talking about themselves. This makes him more mysterious and fascinating. And those of you who keeps saying he’s not aging well, he is aging just perfectly in my book.

Its interesting how various cameras styles have developed into what I’d call trickery. You can see how animated the characters have to become to keep you watching. Bale has advanced himself by surrounding himself in gunsmoke and wires. This description of background is Equilibrium which could depict another side of the making of the more recent stunts which do seem to involve burning of fires and general vehicle management at a new improved standard. But there is no doubt that the training and surrounding can provide the necessary illusions to make the movies run.

What a nice thing to do! It must be easy to avoid events that are named after you and most likely include screaming, jumping, yelling-your-name fans. That is such a nice appearance that he clearly did not need to do. I hope he continues to be so kind to his fans.
