As Troy was saying, what makes the difference WHERE she was on the list—she was ON the list. And frankly, it shouldn’t matter if you agree with the politics of the president or not because this wasn’t ABOUT President Bush, it was about raising money for a children’s charity so I’m not all that impressed with those celebs who turned it down to protest the man who still happens to be the “leader” in this country. It doesn’t matter if I agree or not with his politics but the man is the president of the United States and this was an honor for Vanessa, being 18—to receive and she wasn’t so stupid nor arrogant to thumb her nose at the offer.

Frankly, I just got home from work. Can you believe it? I had to go to two other jobs this morning and then got stuck doing something that was NOT my job to do but somehow my supervisor…well, let’s not go there…

So, I need to get to bed as I have to work tonight but I wanted to check my mail and then I ended up here to see how many new posts had come though. Was having problems with the computer at work last night so I lost track.

Vanessa has been seen wearing shirts that say “Peace Now.” So this is not about politics but about raising money for sick children at a time of year that is SUPPOSED to be about giving and helping those in need. I agree with Karen I’m not at all impressed with Carrie Underwood or any other celebrity that turned this down. Kudos to all the performers whatever their opinions of George W. Bush and his policies may be for putting that aside and having their priorties straight.

Hmm, I wonder if Zac knows how many guys have openly said that they have a crush on her, I mean, when you look at the pictures there’s no surprise. Sure, a lot of girls/women have crushes on him, but the only like Paris Hilton and that the Hills woman (I don’t know her name) said that they could see him in the more then friends way, well, that I know of (and lets face it, having Paris saying that isn’t much of an achievement, well, maybe to some it is). I also wonder if Zac will be seeing this show, well, I think that he will because I would be surprised if he didn’t but I wonder what he’ll think, I’m sure that he’ll love it. I’m also curies about what they’ll do for her birthday, hopefully Zac will get that weekend of so that they can spend some time together.

How do you know that she was turned down from the part she auditioned for? Just because it haven’t come up any news about it doesn’t mean that she didn’t get the part. She did say at the AMA’s that she might have another project coming up before HSM 3, so it might be that, or maybe the whole movie were cancelled because I bet that otherwise we would have heard anything about someone else getting the part instead of Vanessa.
And if there were other names that were considered for the list had other obligations and couldn’t make it, or maybe she was considered from the start, I dunno but she defiantly have the potentials to do it, so yeah, in this case I have to say that at least according to me I don’t get why some say that she must feel good to be up against such singer, to me she’s the one that I would go from all the way up here to DC to watch, non of the others, but that’s just me.
She’s amazing, simple as that.

Have you heard her live? She sounds amazing, better then most does, some can’t sing without background music, V can sing perfectly without music. It might sound a little different o hear her live but to say that it’s bad is crazy talk.

Again, if she didn’t have any talent, why would she be in this business? And don’t say because of the pic because those were taken before HSM so it’s obvious that Kenny and the rest of the once that was in charge of the casting knew she had potential.
