That’s a good question! Why would FOX run the risk of hiring a gay actor when pretty boys are a dime a dozen in Hollywood? Went has even said FOX had gone through every pretty boy there is and were down to the bottom of the barrel when Ratner remembered him from his audition from “Superman” and called him in to audition. It was only 1 week until they were ready to start filming. Did FOX take a chance knowing Went was gay because they were running out of time and he was perfect for the role? Or maybe Went is not gay afterall. I can’t imagine a network sinking millions into a project and risking it all on a gay leading man. That doesn’t happen too often.

He’s a liar! He likes men…ALL his interviews were fake..He’s gay and he’s had us all fool. i’ve been reading the article cindy recommanded and it’s splendid.i only red it once and i intend to do it again more carefully.
i realised all the struggle, passion and doubts wentworth had in 10 years after he decided to go to L.A. and become an actor.
he shared a little thoughts from the all he had.
i think the role in human stain was eliberating for him, and also had to put himself in the eye of the public through his similarities with the role.
he had to explain the world who he is and believe me it’s a tough thing to do, expose your soul to all, who are more than willing to dissect you until exhaustion.
i think his character and personality are a bit different towards the acting thing, cause he enjoys silence, privicy and quite activities.
he has no sparkling events, except the gay issues, there is no reason for the world to love him.
the executives in that room saw perfectily that wentworth is michael scofield.they have the 6th sense. and they were right.
he gave to his role all the very parts of his soul.
personally i believe that are more extraordinary personalities than his, but he is unique cause despite of his obvious qualities he remains the same good, shy, not provocative person.
and for not taking side i must say that it’s true a perfect role, who combine charisma, events and a very good whritten story, can make you a star.
and for wentworth worked.
prison break exists because this wonderful man is a part of the show.

WM has said he is not gay, he just has not met the right girl yet. Not all people are the same. He is just a guy who knows exactly what kind of woman is right for him and won’t settle for second best. Which is very sensible and emotionally mature (Saves a person a lot of unneccessary problems,stress and heartache by getting involved with someone is is not right for you). He is not the type that has flings and one night stands. And he has been living in Dallas for BP and there are no paparazzi there so for all anyone knows he has been out and about with a girl or two checking things out like people all do, it just has not been photographed. The people who insist he is gay just want it to be so for their own messed up personal reasons. Don’t listen to them, don’t be led by blind people who complicate things because they are messed up and complicate things for themselves. Keep it simple. You can see that when you look at video clips of him especially when there are women in the clip interviewing him or whatever his behaviour and body language and how he looks at them is typical of a straight man. Be objective for a change and think for yourself, use your decernment and don’t let ignorant people think for you and confuse you. Besides Perez Hilton is a messed up person with his own personal agenda. Before you give credit to someones opinion look at who the opinion comes from and the persons character (which he is seriously lacking). It is very important to look at that because when you do that you won’t be confused. I am saying this to you because I want to help you see some sense because I can see you are very upset and hurt and you allow ignorant people to upset and confuse you. And that is not fair to you. I know what I am talking about because I was young and easily influenced by ignorant messed up people too. Life experience changed all that. And life experience counts for a lot. So believe what WM says, because he knows himself better than anybody else and he is a person who is honest and has integrity. Don’t believe people who are ignorant and messed up who don’t know him.

So take Samira’s advice and relax. It is okay to have a crush, but don’t be obsessed and make that crush your whole life. It is very bad for you. I know, I have been there myself a loooong time ago, I have lived through what you are feeling a looong time ago as well. All of us have. I am 32 myself, I have that life experience behind me. So do the 3S’ we have lived what you still have to live. (From what I can see you are still a teenager, if I am correct.)

So just be calm and take what comes from the horses mouth as truth instead of believing gossip and rumours. There are no truth to gossip and rumours. And let the poor man live his life. And remember what is right for one person is not right for another. Because we are all different and unique. So if this or that does not suit your way of thinking or how you think it should be it does not mean it is wrong, just different from you. Simple as that.

I was and am surprised that so many have taken that gesture as a flipping off of some kind to the reporter, but I take it that few of you all have ever acknowledged someone with your hands relatively full and while carrying a drink or item in that manner. :) IMO, it is equivalent to a raised hand saying “hey/hello.”

Truth Seeker, you are right, there are also adults who have the same hopes that you do [or did], but hopeful doesn’t necessarily mean realistic. And while naive may not be a bad thing in the worlds of fandom ["a fanbase is a fanbase"], as hurt as you and others may be [admit it, you'd be this upset if he was rumored to be dating or marrying a woman], opening your eyes to reality once in a while will be good for you in the long run in keeping these types of fan relationships in perspective. As I said, I doubt of this interview because the form of the sentences is different from wentworth, it’s not his way of speaking. It’s exaggerated.

Maybe that the interview took place but the sentences were changed or maybe that the interview was invented by a fan or anybody . My opinion is I doubt this magazine and the press in generally. There will be always who will say that this interview was true. We are never sure of anything.

Mais j’approuve pas leur façon de faire, si c’est d’adapter la forme des phrases en fonction du style du magazine. Les fans s’attendent à une interview basée sur l’exactitude des propos tenus par les acteurs (enfin pour ma part). Mais comme j’ai dit, le business passe avant et il faut vendre un maximum. D’ailleurs, c’est pour ça qu’il faut se méfier de la presse, en général. Meme si l’article est vrai, le journaliste peut en rajouter afin d’attirer la clientèle.

Mais malgré tous ce que tu as essayé de me prouver je reste sceptique. Pas sur le fait que wentworth est gay ou pas gay, car pour moi depuis le début, tout n’est que rumeur et spéculations, il n y’ a pas de preuves réelles, mais sur l’article en lui même, sans mettre en cause le sérieu de mr combarieu bien sur.

Wentworth miller, qu’il soit gay ou pas, ça m’est complètement égal, c’est sa vie privée et je respecte ça. Moi j’apprécie son talent, son charme, sa modestie.
Beaucoup de fans sont frustrés de ne pas connaître sa sexualité, à croire que leur vie en dépend. Et donc commence à spéculer en le traitant de menteur etc…, et c’est un débat qui se finit jamais, car personne n’a le dernier mot. On le considère plus comme un être humain mais un objet médiatique. Il est peut etre discret, et si il veut préserver sa vie privée, il en a le droit.
Etre star, ça a ses avantages et inconvénients !!!

Meant to say earlier, concerning Dinotopia… I also oredered it recently and it’s just really sweet and so funny at times (I thought one scene was hilarious, without revealing too much). Think Went might have a gift for comedy as well. Anyway, hope you’ll comment on it once you watch. :)

Wentfanatic, the same thing happened to me as well, oops! The shower scenes in season 1 really should carry that health warning I suggested… Maybe we could sue Fox for not properly informing about the health risks? ;)

Por lo que se refiere, a la conversación entre mi y degeneve. Degeneve ha dicho me que el/ella había llamado al Sr. combarieu que es periodista, para saber más sobre el articulo. El periodista le dijo que esta entrevista fue realizada por teléfono y que se registrara sobre cassette. Y que todo lo que dijo Went era verdadero, pero que las frases se formularon según el estilo de la revista (joven para público y adulto para cinetélérevue).

Despues, degeneve ha mostrado un correo electrónico que le envió el Sr. combarieu sobre el sitio wetforwent, y sobre su manera de hacer. He dicho que me gustaria escuchar el casette y que no apruebo su manera de hacer, si es adaptar la forma de las frases en función del estilo de la revista. Los fans se esperan una entrevista basada en la exactitud de las afirmaciones hechas por los actores ( por mi parte).

Le dije que sigo siendo escéptico. No sobre el hecho de que wentworth sea gay o no gay, ya que para mi desde el principio, todo son rumores y especulaciones, y que no hay pruebas reales, pero sobre el artículo en sí mismo, sin cuestionar él trabajo del Sr. combarieu.
