If Went is gay and happy, then why the H.E.L.L. can’t he be proud about it and say so? Why lie to all his admiring fans? I’m not angry, I just want to know the TRUTH, is that so wrong of me?
Went says people should be treated with respect. So he should treat his fans with respect and tell us the truth. He has marketed himself as a STRAIGHT MAN, not a gay man. Therefore, if he is really gay, that is false advertising. He is misleading female fans into thinking he’s a straight guy. They swoon for him, buy his DVD’s, posters, magazines, etc. They invest their time, money and hearts to a man who may be a FRAUD. Do you think that is right?
For example, if you were to buy something in the store, get it home, unwrap it and it turns out to be something completely different than you thought, isn’t that false advertising? If Went is gay, then he has deceived millions of people into thinking he is straight.
He has described his ideal woman in both Korea and Cannes. He says he wants a girlfriend, and eventually a wife and kids. If he is really gay, he deliberately LIED about those things. Do you think that is right?
If he is not gay, why are these rumors still around? Why doesn’t he squash them? Why does he let them live? He could easily put these rumors to rest, yet he says nothing. The normal straight man would not let these rumors persist on and on. The gays say he refuses to say anything because he is protecting his relationship with Luke.
If Went does come out eventually, then I would no longer be a fan. Not because he’s gay, but because he LIED, DECEIVED, MISLED and BETRAYED his fans. It is important that your fans admire you not only as an actor, but as a decent, honest human being, not a LIAR and a FRAUD.

Why would Went need protection from me? Just because I want him to tell the truth to his fans? I’m no threat at all. I am a 36 year old mature, intelligent woman who wants to know the truth about Wentworth’s sexuality. How is that threatening? Why do you choose to remain in the dark? Don’t you want to know the truth too?

# 447, Please don’t take this the wrong way, but when we watch PB we don’t automatically get the right to find out everything about his private life, so yes, you insisting on the truth (hey, he may have told the truth for all we know) is a bit wrong. I understand if you’re curious, and you want to know more about him (don’t we all, lol), but it doesn’t mean that he HAS to give us this information. I know that when you’re a celebrity you have to be prepared for a certain amount of intrusion, paps etc. but there has to be a limit. Insisting on finding out who he sleeps with (because this is essentially what it is) is just not OK, if he doesn’t want to give us this information. His reason for keeping this secret could be to protect that person’s private life.If you don’t want to be a fan anymore because of this, well, that’s the way it has to be.
One more thing for all of those that are so upset that he might have lied (I’ve said these things before, but I obviously have to repeat them), first of all, we don’t know for sure that he lied. There’s a difference between actual proof and opinion. The photos of him and Luke are suggestive, but all they prove is that they know each other. Second, I bet you’ve all told lies in your life, and I bet that if you’re really honest about it, not all of those lies were little white ones either. So how about we let the one without sin cast the first stone? ;)
This is in no way intended to offend anyone, but this whole “he’s such a liar” is really getting to me, becaue it’s just a case of the pot calling the kettle black! Think of your own actions before you judge others.

Pot, kettle, black, dear! Everybody lies, but it doesn’t make you a bad person. If you’d bothered to read my post I didn’t say that him lying about his sexuality would be a white lie, I was saying that we’ve all told lies that are not little white ones. Read properly, please. ;) If he did lie, he could have many reasons for doing so, that we don’t know about, that could make lying perfectly justifiable. If he really told the truth, how many times does he have to repeat it? Even if he got married and had six children, there would still be people claiming that he’s gay. Just try to respect his desicion to not make YET ANOTHER statement on the subject.

All the A-lister actors in Hollywood show off their wives and girlfriends with no problem, yet Wentworth Miller doesn’t want anyone to know if he’s sleeping with a man or a woman. There is something wrong with that. Does he really expect to keep his lovers a secret forever? If so, he’s in the wrong business. When you become an actor, you have to expect a part of your private life to be lost. He cannot keep his sexuality a secret. If he thinks he can, he is sadly mistaken. For a smart man, he’s not thinking realistically. Fans are naturally curious and as his popularity increases, his private life decreases. He can’t have his cake and eat it too. This comes with being in the public eye.
And admit it girls, if you found out Went was having S.E.X. with gay men, wouldn’t you feel differently about him? I know I would. All the great things that attracted me to him would be gone….. his integrity, his honesty, his sexy gentlemanly, shy mannerisms. All this seems less appealing if he’s gay. It’s much more appealing if he was all those things and a SMOKING HOT, SEXY STRAIGHT MAN!
Come on, admit it girls, you feel the same way. It would matter if Went was gay.

That’s where you’re wrong, # 464, I wouldn’t feel any differently about him at all. His sexuality doesn’t affect his acting, how STUNNING he is, his lovely deep voice, his wonderful laugh etc. So no, it wouldn’t affect me at all. Just because he’s gay doesn’t mean that you can’t fantasize (did I spell that right?). ;)
And as I’ve already said, a certain intrusion in your private life is expected when you’re a celebrity, but that doesn’t mean that you have to give up every detail that the public doesn’t already know about you. He’s given up a part of his private life already, so he doesn’t have his cake and eat it. Most other A-listers are married to other stars, so them parading around with their wives doesn’t mean that they all have to do it.

You want him to be aroused by women, fine, but what difference does it make if he likes men or women? It’s not like we’re going to actually get to shag him… :( Any such dreams are just that, so you might as well go crazy, and pretend that he’s straight as well (if it turns out that he is gay). The difference is purely theoretical. I’m not saying that you dream of marrying Went, but this is precisely why I don’t get why it has to be such a big deal… If he doesn’t want to tell us that part of his private life, please try to respect that. That’s all I’m trying to say.

I know none of us are likely to shag him, but if Went was gay, I still would not be able to get the image of him shagging other men out of my mind. Therefore, I would not be able to imagine him getting down with a woman. I’m a straight woman that only loves straight men. I can’t get turned on by a man who I know loves only other men.
I love Went to bits. He’s the sweetest man in the world, but if I find out he’s really gay, then that would be the end of my drooling for him. And I’m sad if that ever happens. But I can’t control how I feel about him if he were gay. I just hope and pray that he’s not gay afterall. Please Went, say it ain’t so!!!

Hey everyone I think someone is just looking for some attention….. stirring the pot or as LL stated Pot, Kettle, Black…..I know I’m fairly new to these threads and there is one thing I know for sure is that you can choose to respond to peoples comments/opinions or just ignore them, this sad debate about his sexuality will be forever debated on here and in conclusion it will never be concluded, weather he is or he isn’t…….even though he has stated many times he is not GAY, there’s seems to be no trust in what anybody says these days….Roc Hudsons is in the past dude/dudet, way before homosexuality was acceptable so understandibly sooo he stayed in the closet, I would have too if I were him living in stoneage LOL….
I don’t like repeating myself but “WENT WE WANT THE TRUTH” hes’ told the truth, he’s not gay and mabey in your world or bubble people need to be in a relationship to have your acceptance or question their staus in this life, HOLLYWOOD is full of needy people and some always need to be in relationships because thats all they know, I think we call they companionship marriage or better daddy or mommy issues and if you find it difficult to accept that there are millions of souls on this earth who are walking alone until they find their better half soul mate whatever you want to call it and I be these individual probably have to explain to people in their world (just like Wentworth) why they choose to be single or are not married, I really don’t know why people need to justify themselves all the fricking time……… as the song goes Let it be, oh let it be…
I feel we all need to conclude the gay debate and ignore comments from individuals who only have narrow mind…..
I love being home for the holidays……not a fan of the fricking snow…..
