Wow. Stars really do that? It isn’t just because the girls are so young and naive that they think they will meet and marry him in some cutesy way? Gay or not, are these impressionable girls aware of the other impressionable girls who think the same thing?

As for is he or isn’t he dating MacFarlane: I own quite a few dvd sets featuring both actors in their separate projects. Going by Miller’s “a okay” to fantasize so long as we are watching, I am extending that to LM’s roles, as well. Add on the “impressionable girls” who think they DESERVE and with therefore GET Miller? Yeah, they are more than dating in my fantasy alternate reality.

The people/person you should be asking is those who work for studio PR. Why don’t you write Fox and other studios and ask why actors, in general, in Hollywood have to be quiet about their sexuality if they are gay, but need to be on the covers of magazines if they are straight? Then re-read your post about impressionable young girls who buy everything the studios tell you to hook, line, and sinker. It’s those impressionable girls that keep things stagnant and potentially untrue.

He has said he wasn’t gay, but I don’t recall him saying explicitly that he is straight, let alone STRAIGHT.

Honestly? No, I would not. In fact, I was probably the only person grinning ear to ear when the pics with LM surfaced, even though the only thing they show is that they know each other and the only thing they “suggest” is that they seem to be good friends who are “in synch.” No different, really, than when he was seen out with Marianna K. And for the record, I thought he was more appealing with LM.

If you are unable to fantasize about him getting turned on by women, that says more to your imagination [or lack thereof] than anything else.

@ sueli & LL, I think you guys have reiterated what the fans who don’t give a damn about his sexuality have been saying and feeling. Sadly some people are just too dense to get it through their thick skulls. :-( @ Went we want the truth, 36 huh? I’m 27 and feel much more mature then the way you come across. At your age I’m sure you must have a child or children and I hope that they don’t meet people who will treat them with same narrow minded attitude that you have displayed on this thread. @ liz, can’t wait for you to get the mail address, that way we can stay focused and not read annoying comments in between. As soon as we can communicate that way, then everybody can give suggestions for the blog name and them put them to the vote. From the name you’ve mentioned, I think I like the kingdom one best. But we really need to get a plan together before we start the blog. Oh and I don’t think that not having his whole name will affect the visibility. I’m not 100% sure Went is gay either, but it would matter to me because lying to millions of trusting fans is HORRIBLE! Do you think the men who lied to their girlfriends or wives and children about thier sexuality are not horrible people? Went is 35 years old, he’s not a youngster just starting out in this business. He knows his sexuality by now and he doesn’t have to lie. If he’s an honorable, decent man, he wouldn’t lie for his own benefit.

Not everybody that lies about their sexuality has a wife/girlfriend, they lie to not get discriminated against in their everyday life. No, I don’t think it’s horrible, many of you have demonstrated just how much prejudice is still around… The ones that lie to wives/girlfriends is slightly trickier, but I can still understand it. It’s not a nice situation for either one (the one lying or the one being lied to), and I have sympathy for both, but considering the attitudes of people even today, I would never claim they are horrible people. I think in most cases they suffer more than the person being lied to, all because they try to conform to what society expects of them.
And all celebrities have lied to their fans, they all portray themselves as different than they actually are, it’s kind of obvious that some of them are not as down to earth as they try to portray themselves. But that doesn’t mean they are horrible persons for lying about it. Same thing here! ;)

# 494 Everybody has lied at some stage in their life, so let’s not judge him for something we’ve all done ourselves. ;) The only reason we don’t lie to millions of people is that we’re not famous. I can guarantee that if you were famous you would lie about certain aspects of your personality too.
Anyway, we can discuss this until the cows come home, but it’s fairly pointless, to be honest, our views are always going to differ on this, and we’d just be repeating ourselves endlessly. ;)

Went said recently that “Honesty is preferable” so hopefully he practices what he preaches!
