But in the end, Wentworth gives up and says, “I think I better stick to the English!”

PRISON BREAK star WENTWORTH MILLER has credited his success to pop diva MARIAH CAREY. The hunky TV actor was handpicked by Carey for her 2005 video We Belong Together - and Miller insists the exposure of the promo convinced producers to give him the lead in hit U.S. drama, Prison Break. He says, “Mariah’s an international icon. The two days I spent working on her video did more for my career, gave me more exposure, than anything I’d done before Prison Break. I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

If Went is happy to go walking with his boyfriend (I hope not) then why would he not go walking around with his girlfriend…He likes being with men. And everybody is talking about it EVERYWHERE…He’s dating Luke. I googled his name and it’s not just PerezHilton, it’s all over the internet!! Everyone says he is gay! If it was a lie it would not everywhere…I took his poster off my wall after I told my mom.

That’s how I remembered him, as the handsome guy from Mariah Carey videos. ;) Later on, once I read about him, I realised that he was in that Buffy episode.
I also think the videos were shot at the time of filming the 1st season of PB.

I think you’ve missed the part where you are manipulated by the media, who are themself manipulated by the producers and managers.We have a power but it is a very small part in this big industry! Why Wentworth Miller’s eyes are soooooooooo beautiful today, he still got the same eyes since he’s born????!!!Why he’s sooooo sexy today?? Why him???They are going to make you eat what they want you to eat. Think about it instead of throwing name ;-)

Truth seeker, you very conveniently ignore that he has been walking around with girls… ;) Amie Bice anyone? If walking with Luke makes him gay, then surely walking with Amie (and putting his arm around her) must make him straight? ;) Don’t state your opinion as fact, because they’re not the same thing, and it just makes you look a bit, well, juvenile, as you put it… ;)
The thing is, this argument is pointless, because no side has actual proof, and besides, it doesn’t matter if he’s straight or gay. Let’s just concentrate on the actor and his career. Remember, just because we watch his show it doesn’t give us the right to know everything about him.

lilly@132 - for your information i am not a teenage girl, i’m a grown woman of 32 years, if you say that “sincerity and courage” matter - how do you know that went is not being sincere? and i think it takes courage to have patience to withstand the public scrutiny and gossip that went (and others like him) are subjected to, it would pXXX me off big time if i had to keep answering questions about my sexuality again and again.

Sarah :), I agree with you, since the beginning his sexuality became a business of state, and the people don’t consider him as a human being but a media object. And people want absolutely to know his sexuality so they are frustrated. They don’t respect his private life.

i dont mind mariah carey actually, but i like watching those video’s too, especially the bit where she runs away from eric roberts to be with went, the stuff of dreams!
he says he owes his sucess to mariah carey because of the attention he got from those video’s, don’t forget that prison break starts filming a few months before it is aired( i don’t know the exact timetable), so when prison break first aired the mariah carey video’s were already out and playing, i hope this makes things clearer for you!
Hi LL :) , I read a biography about wentworth, and I always thought that he appears in the clips of mariah carey before prison break but apparently the clips were realized after prison break, and I thought that he had been spotted by the producers thanks to clips.
Yeah you’re right girls, i don’t even want to imagine this….everytime the same questions wow…..

Samira, the impression I got is that the video was shot after the pilot, but was released before PB. He went (no pun intended) from one success to the next, and was suddenly everywhere. But I’m probably wrong, it was a while since I read about it, and my memory is really bad…
