“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2″ Movie Stills
The cast of 2005’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants reprise their roles in the Alcon Entertainment sequel, out Aug. 8, 2008.
Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls) as Lena, America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) as Carmen, Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia) as Tibby and Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) as Bridget all return for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
This is the film America had second thoughts about starring in but the film’s producers exercised their sequel option, so she wound up joining the project anyway. But hey look, America and Amber fit into one graduation gown!
Sanaa Hamri directed the film. She’s known for her music videos: Prince’s “Musicology” and Mariah Carey’s “Crybaby” and “Bringing On The Heartbreak”.

I still haven’t seen #1, thanks for the reminder because I do want to watch it since I’ve read and enjoyed the books
they shot alexis bledel’s portion of the movie at my college.
i have tons of pics.. but she didn’t seen very happy… she just looked like she didnt want to be there..
i hope her nasty attitude doesn’t interfere with the movie.
my friend told me that after a night of shooting her boss’s husband ran into her at a bar and she was wasted and was like “you want an autograph right?” and he went “i don’t even know who you are” lol she had to explain it to him..
but whatever.

SOO happy, the first is in my top five fav movies ever.
Even if Alexis is not soo much in the limelight these ( w/c I think she preferred it that way…), she’s still the FAIREST OF THEM ALL! Having that kind of face is not so easy to get overlook even probably if she dresses in rags…
Wow Alexis got some hot leg in that graduation costume huh! Too bad that she didnt show it off that much…

Alexis just got bagged a “lead” role in a movie called THE POST-GRAD SURVIVAL GUIDE. The plot looks promising alongside w/ its awesome cast. And I’m quite surprised that said movie got lots of articles from the media circuits. Alexis probably got a new pr agent, well so good for her – its about time! Perhaps w/ these 2 movies under her belt, there’s still a hopeful movie career waiting for Alexis after GG…
i watched the first one and it was pretty good. can’t wait for the next one. its so cool how america, blake and alexis are all so famous with awards etc. how about the other girl?

I think that America should not say no to these movies, because it is what made her famous, i think anyway.
And she is so perfect for Carmen, and these books deserve to be made into movies and with out America it’s just not possible.
And i’m probably being naiive, but yea.
I hope this movie works out.!
