Vanessa Hudgens: Bye-Bye Washington!

New Zac thread! Not a sighting but I guess JJ figured this thread was long enough. Check out the vid, so funny and very clever!

We were just having some fun writing a little story V-L, kind of a make-it-up-on-the-spot fanfic.

I know you won’t be able to watch the vid on the new Zac thread but I’ve kinda migrated over there. I head to work in half an hour, so won’t be there for long but…

And I’m not surprised that the dvd is selling out fast, it’s popular everywhere!

Thats okay Lin,Thats a very constructive comment.Anyway,V is only 18,I’m sure she still has a lot to learn.We fans would really want to see her grow and improve her talents some more.

I thought Vanessa did a fantastic job all around. I appreciate what you’re saying lin, about the importance of constuctive criticism from fans, but I ain’t the guy to do it. LOL When I love, I love completely.

I will say that I did notice-because I was looking for it-that at the beginning of “Angels I Have Heard on High (Gloria Ex Celsis Deo) she was a little shaky. But I thought she pulled out of it beautifully. There I’m done being constuctive I’m going back to gushing: I thought she was wonderful.

I don’t care if she was the very last name of the very last page of possible invitees, she more then held her own and proved she has potential.

I was reading some of the comments on Vanessa’s performance tonight over at “Zanessa Forever” and an interesting point was raised and it was one that I agree with. Did it seem to anyone here that of all the performers Vanessa seemed to be the only one who was genuinely enjoying herself?

Don’t get me wrong I thought all of the performances were good. I have to say in all honesty though that Cobie Challat (sp?) wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. Something about the way she pronounced the word “Christmas” a couple of times bothered me. LOl I suspect she may be an acquired taste I just haven’t had the opportunity to acquire yet.

Other then that while I enjoyed the performances there was something I don’t kind of static about them. For a celebration of the Christmas the mood overall didn’t seem to terribly joyful or triumphant in my opinion. That’s understandable I suppose giving the state of world affairs today.

But all that changed when Vanessa was on stage from her dance during the opening (she’s taking some gentle criticism for that on ZF but I thought it was charming) to her gorgeous smile after her performance of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting over an Open fire).? She just projected this air of “OMG I’m performing for the President of the United States this is so freaking cool!” I think that’s what Bush was reacting to and one of the reasons he had that smile on his face.

The other performers may have had more polished, stronger voices but Vanessa had the youthful exuberance and flat out joy of performance. That IMO is what made her the stand out of the evening.

vanessa went to the the premire of Walk Hard with Zac the other day after returning home from Washington.

Vanessa looks and sounds great during her performance in Washington, DC. Sure glad she and Zac got to spend some time together last night. They went to the premier for Walk Hard together. Photos on gettyimages. They look happy and relaxed.

I’ve been laying low for a while. Work is such a heavy load; mentally taxing and sometimes spiritually vexing.

I come to this website to feel human again. I read the immature squawking from those inexperienced with life, and I marvel at the sage ponderings of those who’ve graduated from the School of Hard Knocks. And of course I keep tabs on my Sweethearts Zac and Vanessa. If they only knew just how far-flung their fans are, and to what depth they inspire us. Maybe they do know. And always, without fail they do something cute. They deliver the goods and never disappoint.

Thanks for being one of the pillars Boji, in this House that Zac and Vanessa built.
