OlderWill Smith Gets Immortalized
International superstar Will Smith gets silly while getting his hand and footprints immortalized Monday at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Pal Tom Cruise was there to show support for Smith, acting just as nutty.
He told Entertainment Tonight, “I feel honored to know him and his family. When I get around him I feel inspired. We push each other and we need that. We share that same level of reality and commitment that we have to our craft and to our family. Its fun. Wherever Will Smith is, that’s where the party is!”
Added Tom about Will’s music, “He is an extraordinary artist. When I was doing Born on the 4th of July, his music got me through that picture.”
Tom also addressed if Will could beat his wife Katie Holmes in a marathon. Tom laughed, “Kate is fast! I said to Will, ’she ran a marathon, we’ve got to see if we can’t run a marathon. She did it!’ The day after she ran the marathon I was at the hotel and got in the elevator drenched in sweat and I smelled… I said, ‘Listen, when your wife runs a marathon, you’ve got to get on the treadmill the next day!’”
Also in attendance were Will’s kids, who are also actors–son Jaden, 9, daughter Willow, 7. Noticeably missing was his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith. Tie by Louis Vuitton.

Tom and Will’s friendship is precious when many actors secretly are competitive of each other.
Usually on most actor awards only their wife or families show but their fellow actors are a no show.
I only see that with Tom,Will,Brad,Clooney,Ben and Damon. Add the Friends TV show.
I like Will Smith but I do not like Tom cruise, I used to not respect him (juvenile movies), then I got to like him after a few good men until Last Samurai (Not much of a great actor, but good movie choices for him), today, not so much, he seems that he tries too hard and pushes his ways too much, after the courtship (I’d say “pr fiasco”), it was worse. they could let their the movies talk, but they shoved their relationship to the press too much trying to sell them more. I do not find them interesting nor intriguing, and the physical and cothing changes in Katie are blatant and so obvious made “after” marriage, I do not feel her sincere, spacially comparing her to the girl in the interviews pre-pregnancy she was more real and today, she also seems to try too hard to fit a sort of perfect image, picture perfect family-perfect friends-perfect everything…
She might be beautiful, but then, beautiful is the rule in HW, I prefer other artists. Gone frome here. (sorry, for sp mistakes, English is not my first language)
Will Smith and Jada are the coolest in Hollywood and sometimes you can tell their good qualities by the people they hang out with and that shows with Tom and Katie. They are a wonderful couple and close knit family with values. So nice of Cruise to come out to support Will despite his busy schedule.

Im happy to see Tom in this big event. On most sites the top most viewed trailers for 2008 are Cloverfield,Valkyrie,Indy 4 and TDK. Good luck to Tom and Will. I love the I Am Legend book so Im looking forward to the movie.
