No offense to all my wonderful American friends here, but the US does not comprise a majority of the millions that they make…so get your head out of your butt!! Talk about an ego-centric attitude.
They’re pretty darn popular all over the world and the way I understand it they make a majority of their money in Europe and Asia.
The fact of the matter is that if you listen to Brad’s comments in his LKL interview, they’re pretty nomadic and consider themselves citizens of the world. But there he is, sitting in New Orleans trying to clean up a mess that YOUR government has failed at so far. If that isn’t giving back to your country, what is?
Shiloh, an outcast? I think not.

mama pitt is not going to take vince vaughn’s left overs jennifer aniston over angie and brad and grandkids…blood is thicker than water………

Of course not! I’m sure the haters know this. They can’t be THAT stupid.
Jennifer Aniston can’t have children. She had her tubes tied years ago and married Brad without telling him. He found out, kicked her to the curb next to Normans calling cards and found a real woman in Angelina to have a family with.
The third wheel strikes again! LOL!!!!
Whoops!! My comment at #402 was meant for this nitwit:

Sorry open eyez! :-)
I doubt that the explosions are due to the US Weekly cover. Maybe, just maybe, it had something to do with Brad’s interview with Larry King. Despite Terd C. claiming that Brad lost his $h*t after LK asked about Angelina’s relationship, anyone who watched it had to concede that Brad was very calm and serene, despite the attempts at intrusion. It must’ve smarted like a mo fo for daylight to finally sink in and that it’s not a good practice to see someone through another person’s vindictive eyes.
I failed to compliment Brad on a job well done, so I guess I’ll do it now. Good job, Brad.
Also, the last few weeks must’ve been rough on those who prayed for Angelina’s career prospects to crash and burn. Making the Entertainers of the Year and Hollywood’s Smartest must’ve been a b*tch to them, which would explain recycling the cr*p Shiloh stories.
That’s okay, let it wait. Meanwhile, the haters are going bananas. I’m lovin’ it!
Globes Nominations to Signal Oscar Field
Published: 12/12/07, 6:25 PM EDT

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - Clear front-runners have yet to emerge in Hollywood’s awards season, though Golden Globe voters have no shortage of fine films and performances to choose from with their nominations at hand.
Among big contenders for Thursday morning’s nominations are the crime saga “No Country for Old Men” and the historical drama “There Will Be Blood,” both films anointed by major critics groups as Hollywood’s awards season starts to shape up.
The Golden Globes, the second-biggest film honors after the Academy Awards, has a category for best comedy or musical along with best drama, so Johnny Depp’s bloody musical “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” also could get an Oscar boost Thursday.
Days before the Globe nominations, Joel and Ethan Coen’s “No Country for Old Men” was picked by the New York Film Critics Circle as the year’s best film, while Paul Thomas Anderson’s “There Will Be Blood” earned the same honor from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
Both groups picked “There Will Be Blood” star Daniel Day-Lewis as best actor, while the New York critics gave their supporting-actor prize to Javier Bardem for “No Country for Old Men.”
Other possible nominees for best drama at the Globes: Ridley Scott’s crime tale “American Gangster”; Joe Wright’s literary adaptation “Atonement”; Mike Nichols’ foreign-policy romp “Charlie Wilson’s War”; Sean Penn’s road drama “Into the Wild”; and Julian Schnabel’s French drama “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.”
Along with Day-Lewis, Depp and Bardem, acting nominees could include Brad Pitt for “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” Julie Christie for “Away From Her,” Marion Cotillard for “La Vie En Rose,” Keira Knightley and James McAvoy for “Atonement” and Ellen Page for “Juno.”

Not only their movies are popular outside the US. They also make millions overseas advertising cosmetics, watches, mobile phones and I don’t know what else.

“A Mighty Heart,” “Evening” and “The Darjeeling Limited” will vie for English-language film at the U.N.-backed Time for Peace Awards. Kudos, founded by Marion and Robert Einbeck in 1994, honor movies that “further ideas of humanist values such as tolerance, better understanding between people, respect for difference or solidarity,” according to a rep for Robert Einbeck. “Alexandra” will go against Irish musical “Once” in the European film category.
U.N. goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie and Vanessa Redgrave are nominated for their dramatic turns in “Heart” and “Evening,” respectively, with Russian opera star Galina Vishnevskaya (“Alexandra”) the sole nominee in the European actress category. Rounding out the list of nominees is Naomi Kawase’s Japanese pic “The Mourning Forest” for Asian film.
Nominations will be presented Tuesday to a jury of U.N. ambassadors in Geneva. Winners of the awards, which are under the patronage of UNESCO, will be announced in January and honored May 8 at a ceremony in London.

Shocker! ‘Assassination of Jesse James’ is S.F. Film Critics’ choice for best movie
George Clooney, Julie Christie get nods for top actors

The San Francisco Film Critics Circle broke ranks with other critics groups Monday, selecting “The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford” as its top movie of 2007. The film, which failed at the box office despite Brad Pitt in its starring role - possibly because of a 2 hour, 40 minute running time - imagines the outlaw’s final days and the disintegration of the notorious James gang. Ford, a kind of groupie turned assassin who was a member of the James gang, is played by Casey Affleck, who was named best supporting actor by the group.
George Clooney was selected as best actor for his performance as a lawyer who stands up for something in “Michael Clayton,” and Julie Christie was named best actress for her tender portrayal of a woman succumbing to dementia in “Away From Her.” That film, which was released early in the year and is already available on DVD, was the only other besides “Assassination” to get two awards, also winning for its adapted screenplay by writer-director Sarah Polley.
The best director award had to be pluralized so it could go to the Coen Brothers - Joel and Ethan - for “No Country For Old Men,” the film to which other critics groups from New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., had been stampeding as the year’s best picture. The San Francisco critics, made up of Bay Area film writers, also picked “Diving Bell and the Butterfly” as the top foreign-language film of the year, and “No End In Sight” as best documentary.
“The Savages” was chosen for best original screenplay, and in the only category where the local group’s choice matched others, Amy Ryan was named best supporting actress for her role as a careless mother in “Gone Baby Gone.”
Orchid - thank you! That’s exactly what I meant. Movies are only a portion of their income, but even if you only counted box office I think their international take is more… the US comprises only about 7% of the world’s population by my calculation…
love this couple…god bless the jolie-pitt
Favorite BAMPZS moment:
The NOLA pics from January, specifically, Shiloh being carried in a Bjorn, while Angelina carried Zahara. Shiloh’s hair was sticking up like a porcupine… too cute. The BAZS double stroller shots were cute too.
Favorite BA video moment: When Brad got a little too friendly with Angelina’s little onion at the LA premiere of O13. I still say it wasn’t just a grope; there was a little tickle in there.
Proof how selfish Jennifer was to Brad! Check out her interview ith Matt Lauer!
After Friends she said she wanted to travel first and see the world before having a baby. And to think brad has been wanting a kid since they got married.
And Ansiton said the reason why she was hesitating to do the 10th season was because she wanted Friends to end at a high note and that she doenst want to play Rachel forever. Note, she didnt say anything about planning to start a family!
I pity B&A, Brad gets all the blame and (Angie of course) for ditching her, and yet people dont blame her at all for being so selfish, everything was all about her.
Anyway, she such a phony, she is all talk, she ahs been saying she wants to travel and see the world, and up to now, when she has all the time, she only goes to CAbos san lucas. She is just so fake!
Im so glad Brad left her and is now with Angie, he deserves more than this fake woman.

newsflash @ 12/12/2007 at 6:57 pm Jennifer Aniston can’t have children. She had her tubes tied years ago and married Brad without telling him. He found out, kicked her to the curb next to Normans calling cards and found a real woman in Angelina to have a family with.
————————-
Is it true? Did she tied her tubes and never told Brad about that?
Well, even she did that, she could still adopt.
But I get the impression that Jen never like kids. You NEVER see a pic of her holding Coco, her goddaughter.
Orchid - here’s another thing I find really cool about Angelina and Brad’s humanitarian work, and I think it may be part of why some American haters are so piss-y about them:
Most of the work they do is in helping people from developing/third world countries who will NEVER even see a movie that they are in, or who even KNOW who they are (as celebrities). So Brad and Angelina’s intentions there are pretty darn altruistic if you ask me - however I think that some may feel that in a sense they are taking from the rich to give to the poor - modern day Robin Hoods if you will… So there again, I have to say that I think what Brad, and all of those involved in the Make It Right project, is trying to do for some of the neediest citizens in his own country is pretty darn cool.
They could have chose to focus all their resources on Africa and Asia, and take the stance that it is simply the Government’s responsibility to help those who suffered from Katrina, but they didn’t. What I think is a shame is that if you took all the money that has been spent on the war in Iraq they could have rebuilt New Orleans and solved many other social problems (education, healthcare) by now. The American Government has failed its own people on the highest level, and here you have some piss poor hater acting like Angie and Brad haven’t done enough for their own country. Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees!
