Angelina Jolie receives 2007 Golden Globe nomination
Angelina Jolie receives a 2007 Golden Globe nomination for her performance in A Mighty Heart.
Ang was nominated for the category “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama”.
Other nominees include: Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth: The Golden Age), Julie Christie (Away from Her), Jodie Foster (The Brave One) and Keira Knightley (Atonement).
Congrats to AJ on the nomination! Good luck on January 13th!

TMZ showed them walking to the curb, her face turned talking to Brad, Brad talking to her with his ever present hat on over which he put his helmet, LOL, they hugged goodbye, her walking to her suv, then Brad getting on his bike which he had trouble starting (which TMZ took delight in and ran that sequence of events several times). TMZ also added a pix of Angie saying not to get her lips out of shape as Brad was with his manager Cynthia Dante and left on his way going home to Angie.

Martha Stewart to be Angelina Jolie’s stepmother?

Jon Voight was the guest yesterday on The Martha Stewart show promoting the sequel to his hit film National Treasure.
After a brief background chat about Mr. Voight’s personal and professional life, Martha put Jon Voight to work making wreaths. As they were both working on this project of the day, Ms. Stewart kept eyeing Mr. Voight from time to time as he was trying his best with the wreath.
Then out of nowhere Ms. Stewart asked Mr. Voight if he was married. Did Marth Stewart, queen of fine living, commit an etiquette faux pas? Voight seemed stunned by the question but answered, no. It didn’t end there. The next question out of the doyenne of domesticity was “would you ever want to get married again?”. Again, Voight was taken aback but answered
graciously yet somberly, “If I ever found the right woman, yes.”
Martha seemed quite smitten with the established actor and giggled like a little girl at his responses.
So was the eligible billionaress fishing for a new man to be in her life? When you think about it, not a bad match.
One wonders what Voight’s actress daughter Angelina Jolie would think about having a woman like Martha Stewart as a potential stepmother.
Maybe the well connected princess of politesse is just the person Jon Voight needs in his life.

Based on my sources, the golden globes WILL NOT be held this year unless the strike is resolved. As far as I know, there is no discussion as to when the next meeting occur. There are so many differences between the studio and writers group. They have not even come close to compromising. Both parties are still steadfast to their position. Neither is yielding.
My guess is Brad is sympathy with the writers strike (State of Play drop out), he WILL NOT attend the award show out of respect of writers. SO you guys can chill out obsessing their next Red Carpet moment together.
Anyone want to place a bet on it????
