Angelina Jolie receives 2007 Golden Globe nomination
Angelina Jolie receives a 2007 Golden Globe nomination for her performance in A Mighty Heart.
Ang was nominated for the category “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama”.
Other nominees include: Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth: The Golden Age), Julie Christie (Away from Her), Jodie Foster (The Brave One) and Keira Knightley (Atonement).
Congrats to AJ on the nomination! Good luck on January 13th!

To other women, giving birth is very common thing. But it was monumental action to Angie. I was surprised , touched and happy when I heard she was pregnant. It was just beyond expectation.

to the person above who said angie seemed happier then, i say that’s bull. angie has a look of utter contentment and serenity about her. i think she look back at that time as a great learning experience so that she can appreciate what she has now. when we are young and in love, we all think “this is the one”. hell my first serious boyfriend i thought was the love of my life. so much so that when we broke up, i got royally drunk.(i was reading too many romance novels at that time),lol. anyhow, i saw him a few years ago, and wondered what the hell i had seen in
him. that is why that time is referred to as “growing pains). angie is exactly where she wants to be, and where she is supposed to be. the gods have spoken.
For someone who has been labeled a sex goddess Angie has the sweetest smile. This one reminds me of the diane sawyer interview when Angie talked about Brad letting her sleep in while he took care of the girls.

You may be right. Angelina did not know who she was and was in a really unsettled time in her life (she was younger than Britney Spears is today and look at how messed up BS life is), and she was looking for love and home and someone to trust (because she could not trust JV). BBT just happened to be there when she was looking. BBT had left Petra his 4th wife and their two little boys when he took up with Laura Dern. And then Pushing Tin was made with Angelina who he then decided he wanted more than Laura Dern. BBT is 20+ years older than Angelina and he should and did know better. Angelina is still paying for her marriage with BBT with some segments of the public, BBT walked and never got the negative cra* Angelina did and does get.
She really is a beautiful angel. She has that angel-like sweet smile.

hi maybe so, thank you for understanding where i was coming from. some posters were speculating about what may have caused the break in angie and her dad’s relationship. from some of her comments, i believe it was an emotional abuse. it seems she spent her most of her childhood trying to please him, but he always found fault something. i remember in one of her interviews, when she was recounting when she went to the Oscars with him, she said her mother had spent days before going to the mall to find the right dress. if you remember, she was dressed in a white lace dress with a string of pearls. i think for JV, that was appropriate.
furthermore, i believe angie hid the beautiful and sensitive side of herself under a cloak of rebelliousness to get the attention of her father. her candor was and is always always evident, but now we get the total package of beauty, brains and compassion. what a combination. no wonder brad always looks like he doesn’t know what hit him, lol, and jon voight unfortunately is missing out on enjoying the wonderful woman his daughter has grown up to be. god bless her mother, because i am sure she had a lot to do with the outcome.

fyi charlie rose does not do same day interviews,all his interviews are taped and edited days in advanced-and he doesn’t work on sundays.
The regis and kelly interview was via satellite last week while brad was in burbank,my mom was in the audience,and she said brad did a good job.It is obviously taped.
Brad has to do all this pr because of his charity scam,brad and mr.green america’s most wanted.
