Angelina Jolie receives 2007 Golden Globe nomination

I bet if Brad will be the guest of Regis & Kelly then the whole family will be going with him to NY from there they are going to NOLA to celebrate Brad’s birthday & spend the x-mas holiday there too. Or maybe he taped the segment for tomorrow since he has a very busy schedules on hand. I can’t watch Regis & Kelly tomorrow because of work but I hope some fans can post it to JJ & share it with us who can’t watch R&K. Just got back from church, what a lovely feeling to be blessed. We also have a very nice weather here in Northern Fl. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s family.

Lainey’s Blind Item is Maggie Gyllenhall.

She had a baby in Oct 2006 and immediately started filming Batman in March 2007

Her Supportive Partner is Peter Sarsgaard to whom she’s been in a relationship with since 2002.

The Family is the Gyllenhalls who are somewhat prominent in Hollywood. Her Father is a film director, her mother is a screenwriter, Her brother is Jake Gyllenhaal, Jake’s Godmother is Jamie Lee curtis and Peter is a Golden Globe nominated actor.

Lainey said there are people you have blinders on for and it’s obvious for Lainey, Maggie is one of them. She likes her eccentric style and no matter what Maggie does, Lainey always praises her

Thanks for bringing this up again. I forgot who I was talking to about this the other day, but there were a ton of threads this week and I was busy and never got back to whatever thread the discussion was on…

Anyway…she was saying she thought it was Uma Thurman, I said no…she was going to list her reasons why it was Uma…and then I got sidetracked…

So…my final reason it isn’t Uma - Lamey said the person was home, out of the public eye, detoxing through the holidays. Well, Uma was at an event in Europe the day AFTER Lamey said that. Jared even had a thread on it. So clearly Uma is NOT at home with the DTs.

Whoever you were I was talking to - here’s the link to Jared’s thread on Uma. It was December 11 and she and Alicia Keys were in Oslo, Norway for the Nobel Peace Prize concert.

I was looking at Brad’s shirtlees pictures.
If I were Angie, I” d never let him out of bed, not even to assist the kids!
It’s sooooooooooooooooooo possible that he was kissing Angie over the phone, the way he did it!
FAKE-O was completely out of the picture in just a few days after that! Have you seen her pictures from that PR-vacation? SHEER HORROR. What a difference from Angie! AND THEY WERE KISSING ON THE LIPS!

We wanted to express our appreciation for the very important home-building project that Brad Pitt and his Make It Right Foundation have launched in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward.
As native New Orleanians who retain deep ties through family and friends, we know that our gratitude mirrors that of countless residents, both those who have already returned and those still hoping to return to this beautiful and unique city.
It became clear in the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina that not only a community but also a culture was placed at risk, and that the provision of housing and other long-term solutions would be the top priority in providing relief. The hurricane and the flooding that followed destroyed entire neighborhoods filled with residents who, even before Katrina, were in need of safer and more affordable housing. The overwhelming amount of work to be done, the delays and failures we have seen in the response to this disaster, and the loss of focus as the public’s attention shifted to other concerns also threatened to frustrate relief efforts in the absence of effective initiatives that could attract broad public support.
Our answer was to join with the New Orleans Area Habitat and build a Musicians’ Village in the Upper 9th Ward. And while the Village has brought many families back home, there are thousands more in need of help.
In the more than two years since the initial catastrophe, we have seen a level of commitment on the part of folks such as NOAH and its volunteers that is truly inspirational. At the same time, despite the tremendous amount of work that remains to be done, the situation on the Gulf Coast has inevitably been eclipsed in the public’s mind by subsequent events.
Continued progress requires that every opportunity be taken to keep public attention focused upon the needs of New Orleans and its residents. Brad Pitt’s stature in this country and the world cannot help but renew that attention and commitment, and will no doubt inspire others to take a similar stand.
The positive effect that Brad Pitt’s efforts will have on the lives of so many people is the greatest gift he could hope to receive, and he has our deepest thanks.
