Double noms for Cate! Yay!
christain bale and emile hirsch got j-jerked.
Although I’m a fan of Angelina’s, I found her performance in AMH merely good, (she knows her craft), but not outstanding from my perspective. It may be because I couln’t help having expectations. Still, I’m happy she was nominated. As an older guy and a Canadian I’m hoping the allways beautiful Julie Christie takes it for Sarah Polley’s, ‘Away From Her’.
I cannot believe that Shakira got best song. What a terrible voice and what a terrible song. They should have nominated Marc Anthony for El Cantante, he’s a better singer and the song is so much better. Both of these songs are in Spanish. I don’t get this at all.
emile hirsch - will definately be in the Oscar race
Golden Globe Smolden Moble
Angelina Jolie
Viggo Mortensen
Marion Cotillard
Johny Depp
It’s all I want!
im so happy angelina is nominated! i cant wait to see her at the golden globes and she better win!
How come Dexter wasn’t nominated under the Drama? That show is heaps better than ‘Grey’s Anatomy’!
Angelina Jolie portrayed her role in AMH with excellent performance. After I watched AMH, it took me a while not to get affected. That’s how effective she was. So, I wish she would get another Golden Globe, & hopefully Oscars, too.
I hope the Foreign Press Association would judge objectively and not to consider age, popularity or influence in deciding which among the nominees really deserve to win. If they have to watch the films over & over again, that would be better, so as not to cloud their judgement.
Go Atonement!
Atonement better win them all or ima cut someone! lol
and Go Gervais! :D
Grey’s Anatomy for best drama????? hahahaha Sorry, but where are Dexter or Friday Night Lights?
PRISON BREAK DOESN’T DESERVE A GOLDEN GLOBE after killing the amazing Sara Tancredi. The heart & Soul of the show, and the only FEMALE lead. Screw Molly… I want Sara back.
Btw: YAY! ANNA FREIL! PUSHING DAISIES! AND LEE PACE! :D
Why is there no prisonbreak nominations? And all these nominees (Tv) are almost there every year nominations. How i wish to see other not so usual nominees next year. I hope somebody from Prisonbreak like Wentworth!
Oh! am so happy Tarantino wore a barong tagalog (A filipino national costume). He is setting a fashion statement there.
ANGELINA JOLIE IS BEST ACTRESS FOR 2007
EAT YOUR HEART OUT
angelina jolie is best actress for 2008
eat your heart out
who is saying gossip girl deserves a golden globe?
are you on crack?
The novel sartorial appearance generated equivocal comments. The LA crowd, seeing the “Barong” for the first time, thought the director looked too casual in his “tie-less” get-up. While Pinoys world-wide applauded Quentin for giving their native dress international exposure.
According to http://www.tesoros.ph Quentin was gifted with a ‘TESORO’S” barong by the National Commission of Culture and the Arts Executive Director Cecilia Guidote-Alvarez and by the Film Development Council of the Philippines vice-Chair Christine Dayrit. The Director was presented the 24 hour executed, custom-made barong for his courtesy call to the Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
The Barong Tagalog is the recommended attire when visiting the Philippine head of state. Most delegates are automatically gifted by their Filipino hosts with one. And their store of choice is Tesoro’s which carries the widest assortment of barongs, with a price to suit every budget and a style to suit every taste.
Tesoro’s must have done such a good job as Quentin saw it fit to wear the barong again and in front of an international media event at that.
Quentin’s patronage of the barong will endear him in the hearts of the movie going Pinoy (Filipino) public for many years to come.
I really hope Minnie Driver wins best actress. She is incredible on The Riches. I had no idea what the show was even about before I watched it, but it’s really clever and she is so awesome!
GO ATONEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!
i would love cate to win both awards she was sooo amazing in the 2 performances!
