Knight Rider Rides Again
Knight Rider, the iconic 1980’s TV show starring David Hasselhoff is being reborn starting with a two-hour episode beginning on Feb. 17 at 9pm on NBC.
KITT, the black “smart” car featured in the show will be changed from a Pontiac Trans-Am to a Ford Mustang Shelby. As expected, Ford signed an agreement with NBC to feature the car.
The high-tech crimefighter series will star Justin Bruening, Deanna Russo, Bruce Davison and Sydney Tamiia Portier (daughter of Oscar winning actor Sidney Poitier). David Hasselhoff will guest star as his previous role of Michael Knight.

Once again Hollywood can’t seem to come up with an original idea so they just rehash an old show that worked for the time it was produced. Geez, I guess we will be seeing a new Charlie’s Angels, Dukes of Hazarrd, and oh we can’t forget about the Six Million Dollar Man.

OMG - this car is ugly……..
why dont they just let sleeping dogs lie. why are they trying to ruin every classic show out there? I have a feeling its going to suck because hasselhoff has lost the plot and is f*cking crazy now
Damn man it’s a V8 car that drinks so much gas ! Where’s the conscience about global warming !? There should be more actore like Dicaprio and Owen Wilson who care about environement !

I just hope that this one is better and meets the audience’ expectations.
How unfortunate that a cool car like the Shelby Stang is associated with this loser actor and TV show.
As for the lame comment about this car being a gas guzzler - honey, if they used an ‘environmentally - friendly’ car, it would be yawnsville since they take half an hour to get up to 60 mph. And top out at 70. :-)
Get over it, they could find another idea than this or use a motorcycle damnit. GLOBAL WARMING tabarnak !
lol, another example how hollywood has absolutely no sense of reality. Replacing a pontiac with a ford? Give me a break. Let’s hope the writers strike goes on forever and it starts also affecting stupid shows like this.

G., if you want to watch a show that is environment-friendly, go OUTSIDE and visit a park. Or go watch reruns of The Golden Girls with the rest of your geriatric friends and shut up.
