Oh yay!!! This is the most amazing news! John Travolta was right about Nikki’s talent!

Acutally Nikki has already wrapped a movie based on true events for Lifetime that was produced by Starz netowrk called “Queen Sized” which is getting pretty good reviews and publicity. And she has already wrapped a movie “Harold” due out in 2008 with Cuba Gooding Jr. Then ontop of that she has her concert on Sunday and hopefully more after that to do with touring and sinign. And I believe that she is working on an album of her own, so yeah she isn’t going anywhere!!

Zachary may be the ‘Ladie’s Choice’ but Nikki is critics choice (or whomever makes the nom descisons)

Karen, I didn’t say at those threads. I said V/ZV fans…because it’s obvious that what they are. And after reading some of this I wouldn’t speak about maturity levels.

None of us never said it was okay to call girls “too skinny” I for one hate when *anyone* is called names or hurrtful things. So I take just as much offense to anyone calling actress like Kiera anorexic and too thing to you calling Nikki fat or obese as some have. To determine a person based on their physical apperance is low and shallow, that isn’t who they are. You don’t acutally know she is in danger of heart problems, nobody knows that but her doctor and her. Just let the girl be, she is happy with herself and that is all that should matter if you are fan.

She is an amazing actress, why can’t we celebrate her for that insteand of crtisizing her weight?

Very possible-Amy has garnered good critical response on this and turned in a decent performance in the ingenue style that few actresses could pull off credibly. I’d rather see her get it for something ike Junebug but this is what happens lol. I think Helena and Marion (despite amazing critical praise for her trun as Piaf) are the outside chances here with Nikki in the middle with Ellen (crits love an indie flick) or Amy most likely..but we will see what we will see..they always throw put a surprise at us..so fingers and toes crossed ;) Just to get nommed is an honour.

So little Nik-Nacks finally done it.

Well it’s all working out fine, Nik’s get her just rewards (she’s a true start that one) and I’ve got the world’s largest Beanie Baby collection!

Yeah my high and excitment for Nikki and the cast of Hairspray has yet to wear off!! I loved seeing her on all the entertainment shows tonight, she is just soooo fraaking adoreable! I love that she was so excited she knocked over a coffee table, that my friends is true gratitude!

–I really hope she does get it, I know her competion is stiff fron Amy and Ellen, and maybe Helen. I will have to see Sweeny Todd and see how good she is in that to judge it, but definitley Amy and Ellen are gonna be her main competetion. I think though she has a very good chance of walking away with this award.

But I am also I highly optamistic person and won’t stop hoping till the award is announced. I think that if we allow Johnny to get the best actor nom and Tim best director nom we can call it even with Nikki getting best actressa and Hairspray as best film, to me that is completely fair…

I do as well because a win for Nikki would be like a win for any young girl who has big dreams that they feel will never come true. Also a win for any of the “bigger” girls who look up to Nikki and all that she stands for. Nikki just represents soo much that is good it is hard to root for anyone else.

–I might be biased but yet not really as I am a huge Helen fan and Amy was fantastic in ‘Enchanted’ and it looks like Ellen straight up rocked ‘Juno’ which I sooooo desperately wanna see, so yeah I don’t consider myeslf biased because I am pulling for Nikki to win the most….

John calling Nikki in the middle of an interview to congratulate her is the cutest thing ever, and I love that he says “this is your mama calling” and “we did it babygirl!” It’s really an affirmation of how close those two are.

And the fact that Zac called Nikki aswell is pure love, and just what they said to each other - it’s so intimate, and sweet! I wish we had a video of that too.

Jared, any chance you can work your magic and find us one? ;)

Anna, I bet the other young ‘uns would have called, at least! Everyone always said how close they became to each other while filming, and I know Elijah said in a recent interview that he kept in touch with his younger co-stars, so I’ve no doubt Nikki received a few congratulatory phone calls from the HS cast :D

I know what you mean, I’ve been buzzing about this all day. I told my friends, who know about my Hairspray obsession, but they didn’t even roll their eyes when I mentioned it, they grinned and said Nikki was really good in the movie and that she deserved it! And I just told my sister, who is also a huge fan, so needless to say, she was pleased :)

I don’t get why it seems people are viewing Nikki as the underdog and that Amy Adams is going to def. win. Nikki has been good at proving people wrong, so I hope she does so this time too.

I was hoping we’d have something from Nikki’d concert. There is a vid on YT of her rehearsing and there is a photographer there snapping pics of her…but still nothing. This is disappointing. And still nothing on any of her upcoming projects.
