Nikki Blonsky Picks Up Golden Globe Nomination
Nikki Blonsky nabbed a 2007 Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Hairspray. The film itself also was nominated for “Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy”.
Other nominees include: Across the Universe, Charlie Wilson’s War, Juno and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Congrats to Nikki, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes and Zac Efron on the nominations. Good luck on January 13th!

Nikki is definitley NOT a one hit wonder, she is going to be a timeless star. She will be like the Marylin’s and Audrey’s of our day, only a big bigger and avoid any contraversies (sorry Marylin, I still love you!) Nikki has staying power and she is going to prove that with the next roles she choses and everything she decides to do. Nikki isn’t going anywhere but up!!!

Acutally Nikki has already wrapped a movie based on true events for Lifetime that was produced by Starz netowrk called “Queen Sized” which is getting pretty good reviews and publicity. And she has already wrapped a movie “Harold” due out in 2008 with Cuba Gooding Jr. Then ontop of that she has her concert on Sunday and hopefully more after that to do with touring and sinign. And I believe that she is working on an album of her own, so yeah she isn’t going anywhere!!
Zachary may be the ‘Ladie’s Choice’ but Nikki is critics choice (or whomever makes the nom descisons)
