Nikki Blonsky Picks Up Golden Globe Nomination

That’s it right there…walking the road less travelled Beckles…the long and winding road..some people never get off the highway ;)

One of the main things I love about Nikki is that she has made a name for herself souly on her talent, none of that pap cr*p, you have hardly ever, if at all, seen her in the tabloids. It is so inspiring to see not only a confident woman but one who has her priorties right, her career comes first. Way before being a tabloid or tween mag covergirl.

–Although I wouldn’t mind seeing Seventeen doing an article on her, get her more out there to young girls and show them that you should always love yourself and not want to be like all girls you see on TV. Nikki wants to be a role model, and one that parents can be proud to say thier children look up to…

Becky, I guess it’s kind of like how we were all talking about the difference between being an actor and a celebrity. ;)

I’d love to see Nikki on Smallville. She and Allison Mack would be amazing together. Another incredibly talented actress who is underrated. That and I would love to see her on Grey’s or maybe Gossip Girl. And movies, movies movies. ;)

Naughty Nonna!! Hee, but I flove you for it!!! Nikki B built up her own amazing credentials all on her lonesome, and that is one of the MANY reasons why she deserves this nomination!!!

–I agree ladies, Sweeny Todd looks pretty fantastic, and let’s face it Johnny Depp and Tim Burton pretty much equal WIN. But I say let Johnny have best actor and Tim best director and let Hairspray have the best film not, fair? I soooooo can’t wait to see that movie though….

You should get your facts straight. Nobody on the Vanessa AND Zanessa threads are bashing Nikki. We fans at those sites are really happy for her nomination. Wish you could be that mature.

Welll Nikki is a given Nonna, the only person other than her I would like to see win is Ellen for ‘Juno’ that movie looks hilarious and I think she did an amazing job. But my heart is still with Nikki and praying for her to win!

between Hairspray and Sweeny Todd, AND Across the Universe I am completely torn. I FLOVE HS and ATU to bits, and I know I will love S-T because like I said earlier Johhny and Tim can do no wrong in my eyes, especially when they do a musical! But in the end I have to pull for HS becuase of my over ten year love of the story, it is just about time this story line gets recognized on a big scale. Tony’s are a big scale yes but unless you are a musical geek like I am then you don’t fully understand that, but Golden Globes and Oscars are universal of awesomeness and talent!

This is a Nikki thread and it should be understood that we’re fans of Nikki and we don’t like it when a select few of Zanessa fans come here and compare the two. Besides why would there be bashing of Nikki on those threads?

That is my opinion, but it only takes a few to ruin a whole bunch.
