Check out Vanessa Hudgens‘ performance at Wednesday’s Christmas in Washington 2007 at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C.
The High School darling performed for President Bush and other honorary guests alongside American Idol alum Katharine McPhee and R&B singer Ne-Yo.

Oh Boy, where is Malia with her list of V’s achievements when you need her?
I think a few of these guys need a little overview of Vanessa 101: How her talent, personality and charm made her famous and garnered her such a group of devoted fans. :)
everyone who keeps defending Vanessa by reminding us that she is only 19 should also remember that this is the same girl that had filthy pix all over the internet…it is hard for us to believe that anyone that young would do that

Vanessa has a great voice and I don’t see the reason why haters have to be so mean. You can have your opionion but there’s no need to swear and say hateful things Vanessa was great I thought kathrine mcphee has a fuller more mature voice, but still v was awesome and you know what I doubt any of u haters could get up there and sing LIVE in front of the president and millions of viewers do u know how much courage that would take?
you know what i don’t even know what to say to all these haters!!! i mean yeah you all have your own opinions about vanessa but that doesn’t mean you can call her names…you people don’t even know her so how can you judge her?? *shakes head*
and anyone that saw the performances know that no one was lip syncing!! they were all choosen to perform because they have talent!!
soo all the supporters: how bout we just ignore these people and get on with our convos on how great vanessa did!!!! :)

I really do like Vanessa, but I don’t think this was her best performance. But she did do really really well though, her stage performance shined above everyone elses. I mean I’m not a hater, I’m a regular on here actually. I think maybe her live voice just needs some training or something. And Katherine Mcphee sorta messed up at the very end.. but she did really well throughout the rest of the songs and of course Neyo was really good! :)

Ha, do you live in a cave? This may be hard for your tiny little tween mind to comprehend, but people do stupid stuff like this ALL THE TIME. People get pregnant, when they’re only fourteen years old. They get hooked on drugs, they kill people. And you think taking “filthy” private pictures of yourself is BAD. Especially when it’s in the privacy of your own home? You are going to be in for a huge awakening when you enter the REAL world and see that it’s full of stupid people who make stupid mistakes, and smart people who make stupid mistakes and manage to get past them. Grow up you little twerp.

but for me, I don’t mind these haters now. They just add to her hits. Negative or positive, it just means that people are interested in what she does. They can bash and puff and whine all they want….but they’re contributing in making our BABY V Famous.
Besides in the end, we win and what matters is that she’s improving and getting known even more.

I don’t think any of them were lip-syncing, and I’m not a fan of either Vanessa or Katherine, but you gotta admit, Vanessa’s performance was poor in comparison to Katherine’s performance.

#103 That is by far the dumbest thing I have ever heard, there was nothing provocative or the least bit inappropriate about her dance. Katherine McPhee was swivieling her hips as well. GASP! And the dance Neo-yo did at the end of his rendition of “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer” was utterly appalling. The secret Service should have jumped on stage and dragged him off. *rolls eyes* So no not everyone agrees.
I haven’t seen one substantive critquie in this thread not ONE. I’ve seen a lot of ignorant remarks bringing up Vanessa’s personal relationship with Zac and the scandal. That is TOTALLY irrelevant to the subject of this thread. The fact that those subjects have even come up show me that those bashers didn’t bother to watch. Which totally “invalidates” their opinion.
