Yeah, that’s so true! It’s funny :D I noticed that when I was in Malta a couple of years ago… We met these guys and told them that we were from Finland and the second they heard that they were like “Vittu!” (you know, the Finnish word for f***). They just kept saying it, didn’t know any other Finnish words… We thought it was hilarious. :D I don’t think I know any swear words in Swedish, though… Ehm. Helvete? Ehh :D I’ve studied Swedish for five years now, haven’t come up yet! Maybe you could give me some tips? Ord tips, tack. :D

And I’ve been to Sweden, loved it. It’s been a few years, though… My mom and dad used to live there when they were young.

Sorry for the long post, it’s just so funny to talk to someone from Europe, let alone from Sweden, right next to us!

I know what you mean Elisa, it’s great to see more people from Scandinavia around, especially when you have a common interest with them, like ‘zanessa’.
I was in Helsinki this summer and it’s a beautiful town, I have to say thought that I find it both interesting and kinda funny to see that all the street name tags were written both in Finnish and Swedish, and that when you o to school you can choose to either go to a Finnish School and study Swedish as a second languish or go to a Swedish school and study Finnish as a second languish (or something like that). My mom also told me that when she was pregnant with me she was in Finland for a short vacation, you know, when you go by boat for like a day or two, I didn’t remember that until now.
My brother, who loves like Rock music always mention how cool it is that Finland have so many great once. I love both ‘Nightwish’ and ‘Lordi’ myself.

And yes, Helvete is a swearword although, it’s not that bad, I mean, you can write hell in English children’s books these days and no one say anything *lol*

I also have to say that Vanessa looked happy and relaxed, I’m sure that it was great for her to be back home with her family and Zac.

Let’s all hope Nikki wins! C’mon . . be a good sport. The girl deserves it. One of these days, it will be Zac’s and Vanessa’s turn and we hope that Nikki’s fans will be supported as well.

Yeah, Swedish is an official language here, so everything has to be written in both Finnish and Swedish… Because of finlandssvenskarna, you know. ;) And therefore we also have to study Swedish at school, starting in 7th grade. (This is something that some of us are not too happy about… :D )

Oh, your brother obviously has a good taste! ;> Well, actually, I’m not a huge fan of Finnish music myself (surprise, surprise!). I do like The Rasmus, though, and it was sooo cool when Lordi won the Eurovision! :P

And, I don’t know if you’ve heard it, but I love this song by Kent, called ‘Vad två örön klarar’. We listened to it at school, and I completely fell in love with it. And then the classic Swedish superstars, ABBA and Roxette, are great. A little wierd for a girl my age (17 soon) to like ABBA, but I do!

I love the picture where they are looking at each other so adoringly. That says it all. At gettys there is a picture of Vanessa looking up at Zac in that way—probably the pic was taken just before the one where they are looking at each other.

I’m going to be in an out today so I am going to say this once.
Drake Bell is being bashed for no reason. I am not his fan but it is still wrong for him to be taking so much heat just because Vanessa was on his show once and when the unfortunate incident with Vanessa hit many people wanted to get as much gossip going as possible. So, poor Drake was dragged into that and he denied all the rumors at that time. Now recently when Vanessa’s sister Stella had her birthday some low-life had a blog just made to bash Stella. Why would we need to go on with just THAT information? However, in that blog Drake Bell’s name came up again. Once again he started getting attention over something he never did or said. It’s just as unfair for this young man to be villified as it is for Vanessa. So, you people can believe me or not, I refuse to go on anymore about it. Plus, Drake and Vanessa was never an item. Now, if you want more informaton, go to the Vanessa thread that has over 1200 comments because most all questions on there with logical and truthful answers. If you don’t feel like going through them all like many of us did, then shut up with your rumors because you just sound ignorant. You are definitely uninformed and obviously believe everything you read.

Now Clare—you all remember her, don’t you? she has been on Vanessa thread to bash her—has taken issue with me and says I have tried t start trouble. She can’t even see that she is the one stirring up stuff. I should have known better than to go there. I didn’t even say anything bad about Nikki—quite the contrary! Ok. firstly, Vanessa’s hair is gorgeous. It isn’t greasy it actually looks like it has just been washed and made to be shiny.

I made one comment to ONE poster who said something that was unfair now everyone is having a heyday with me because “Clare” said something hateful—go figure. Anyway, Clare says she has never been to a Vanessa site to bash her. Well, only she knows for sure and I said I was sorry if it wasn’t her but I’m not really convinced even though I know there could be another Clare. I saw somwhere that Vanessa is 5.1, another place I read that she is 5.4. I also read that Zac is 5.8 and another article said he is 5.9.

Erica, I’m not too good with this either, but an inch is about 2,5 cm, right? So 170 cm would be 5′7 then… If I counted correctly :D

kirstie, don’t worry about being that tall. You would most likely be close to 6ft now, if you were actually going to be that tall. At your age, I was the height I am now 5′9″. You may grow an inch or two more…so don’t sweat it. :-)

Oh, I forgot to say…John Mayer is 6′3″, so Zac has to at least be 5′9″ or a little more. Because I have a lot of friends that are John’s height and I Zac actually looks taller than me. Like I said I’m 5′9″.

Remember, he’s only twenty and guys grow until they are around 25. He could end up a few inches taller than he is now.

I read that Vanessa was 5′3″, which sounds about right, because my boys are a little over 5′2″ and they are just below my chin.

Yup, that would be me! I know, I love heels but then I feel really tall when I’m wearing them and that makes me feel kind of insecure… But then again, Ellie said that she can wear heels and I’m only an inch taller than her, so maybe it’s just in my head :D And about the weight thing, I guess you’re right about that. I have really long legs, too, so I look taller and thinner than I really am. But on the other hand, I try to stay really slim, because I’m thinking that if I can’t be short, I’m at least gonna be petite otherwise! Don’t know if that makes any sense to you, though. :P

How much snow did you guys get zanessa110? We only had school close here when it snowed 3 feet in one day, which I can understand. :-) By the way where are you?

Enjoy the snow if you can. Ice is what I don’t like. You can’t drive in that at all, and it causes all sorts of problems. :-(

Well, I do guess we’re even because I love snow and the only way I use to be able to see it was the fake stuff at the indoor ice arena but they closed that down!

Yeah zanessa110, I hate it when that happens. They do that to us here too. What usually happens is they predict all this snow and then it dumps all the snow in the mountains and none on the valley floor where we are.

I usually know when you guys get a good snow. My brother lives in Yonkers and will e-mail me pix of his kids playing in it. :-)

Ellie, we have critters too. We have lots of trees around here, so we get critters too. The worst ones are the mosquitoes in the summer….ugh. But we light all our citronella candles and sit out anyway at night by the firepit!

Hey, Karen…..enjoy your soup!! Perfect for a cold December night! We have about 8 or 9″ of snow already, and it’s supposed to snow until 10 p.m. My husband is stuck in Boston; he got 2 blocks from work and turned back. My son is working too….but at least he has a Jeep to get through the snow! It looks wicked pretty though! It’s a fluffy, dry snow!
