Ashley Tisdale shows off her new nose onstage during Z100’s Jingle Ball 2007 concert at Madison Square Garden on Friday in New York City.
The 22-year-old High School Musical star received her scultped schnoz two weeks ago.

It looks okay, IMO. It’s a little smaller but otherwise doesn’t seem like that drastic of a change.

I like her but she made a mistake. Her new nose sticks out too much now, it sort of dominates her face whereas before it added to her character. But she is awesome and my daughter adores her so who cares what her nose looks like. :-)
I don’t understand why all these young stars feel the need to alter themselves, I’m their age and accept myself the way I am, sure their’s the occasional ‘body issue’ but still…Seriously!

i think she loks beautiful anyway. she did it to feel better with herself, and there is nothing wrong about it. besides, it was for her healthy. she’ll breath better and now she’ll sing even better

Downgrade , it’s not too bad from the front though. So I suppose she did lie after all. Cleary she got a complete nose job even if she also included a surgery for “health” reasons. Well not all that unexpected.

Downgrade and that’s saying a lot. Her upturned nose makes it look like Michael Jackson’s nose. Also looks like she got collagen on her top lip as well. Surgery for health reasons my a$$.

It really doesn’t look that different, and she’s still absolutely gorgeous. And obvs she did do it for health reasons, why would she lie about it? God, some people need to cool it. :) 100 % supportive of Ashley always :))

It would have been better to say the truth rather than being questioned about it later. You can totally tell she had a nose job she can’t deny it even if she tried.
Sorry, but nose job or not, she is still ugly to me. Never thought she was pretty to begin with, and her attempt to correct her “deviated septum” as she says has not improved her looks at all. Still UGLY!

Looks the same to me as well! She did it because of her health so I’m totally with her, she did correct to make the surgery. I love her so much, and i though it would look so different, but it still looks like the other nose…the difference is that ow ashley feels better, and can breath correctly :D:D:D

Downgrade.
I liked her old nose better. She looked more real with it, less plastic and made up. Now it just seems like she’s trying to fit into the Hollywood image. Her nose wasn’t that noticable, at least not to me. I didn’t know many people who took the time to point out Ashley’s nose, because nobody really cared what she looked like. But there’s no way health problems could have changed her nose THAT drastically. She may have had a deviated septum, but it’s obvious she got cosmetic surgery while fixing it. Unless you remove something, health related surgeries rarely ever change the shape of what is being operated on. She may not have lied about the deviated septum part, but she DID lie about the plastic surgery part. It would have been better if she said nothing at all, instead of lying to us about how she doesn’t approve of plastic surgery, then turning around and getting it.
New nose looks too perfect for “health reasons”. I’m not a fan of cosmetic surgery, but I would have respected her decision much more if she just flat out told the truth. Now, not only is she STILL unpretty, but also a liar.

For the record, septoplasty - procedure to correct deviated septum - does not change appearance of nose unless you also have rhinoplasty - commonly known as a nose job - at same time.

I have to say, even if I like the girl, it looks like a drastic change for a “deviated septum.” The surgery she would have gotten for that would have removed (or decreased) the bump on the bridge of her nose (see top photo, it’s pretty clear there), but it shouldn’t have done anything to the rest of it, unless she picked a not-so-good plastic surgeon to do it.
But I think she looks pretty good. A little more like the people in LA physically maybe, but still pretty.

I dunno what to think…My nose is very like ashley’s old one and eversince I was about 12 i’ve wanted plastic surgery!!! So i know what it feels like (if she did have it done for cosmetic reasons). But I’m 22 now and I’m starting to accept my nose and I don’t think I would have plastic surgery now. To be honest I felt much better with my nose when I saw Ashley’s in HSM but now she’s had it changed I’m starting to feel like maybe there’s something wrong with mine too! I know that probably sounds stupid but oh well. If Ashley likes her new nose then I’m happy for her but I think it will take a bit of getting used to! To be honest I prefered her old one but maybe I’m biased! :p

Does anyone remember Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing? The movie was a huge sucess and she was well on her way to fame. But then she changed her nose, and pretty soon nobody would hire her.
I totally do not support plastic surgery, unless it’s necessary. People should be thankful and comfortable in their own bodies instead of constantly trying to change them. I don’t support lying either, especially about something that’s painfully obvious, like this. It is possible that she had a deviated septum, but fixing that does not require the nose to change so drastically.
I’m disappointed in Tisdale, not for getting plastic surgery done, but for lying about it. She owed it to her fans to be honest, even if it was none of their buisness in the first place.

Sometimes, people go in for sinus work which is medically necessary, and end up with a nose that looks different. Depending on how damaged her septum was, it may have been necessary to also alter her turbinates and nostrils so that she would be able to breathe properly. She’s a very young person, and if she suffered an injury to her nose while she was still growing, the rest of her nose would have grown in a crooked fashion. It’s practically impossible to perform surgery on just *one* part of the nose without having it affect everything else. It’s just the nature of the skin and tissue in that area of the body…
I know she had to have surgery done to correct a deviated nasal septum but I just don’t like the way her nose looks. The very tip loos like Michael Jacksons nose.

By the way, all of these celebrities who say that they have to have a nose job because of a deviated septum are such big liars. You DON’T have to change the outside of your nose to fix an internal problem. My boyfriend just had his fixed because he could not breathe through one nostril and he did not have to alter the appearance of his nose at all.

This is the girl from that Disney movie, am I right? The blonde, bitchy one named after a dog? Wow, I can’t believe a Disney Girl got plastic surgery. It’s a good thing she did though. Her nose was HUGE. But the plastic surgery just makes her face look fat and ugly now that her nose is so small. It’s too bad that her nose came out the way it did, all pinched and weird-looking. But she can still fix it.
