Nicole Kidman Suits Up in Silver

Nicole Kidman shines in a silver suit by Balenciaga at the Australian premiere of The Golden Compass at the State Theatre on Sunday in Sydney, Australia.
“[Director Baz Luhrmann] is my creative soul mate,” she said gleaming.
The 30-year-old Aussie power actress was accompanied by her younger sister Antonia and 8-year-old niece Lucia, who was the flower girl for Nic’s wedding last year.
At the premiere, Nic also mentioned how happy she was be spending Christmas with country superstar husband Keith Urban and her family in Australia.

I actually don’t hate it. Not her best outfit by any means but her figure is still awesome. And her hair is maybe a little redder which looks good on her. I’m wondering what she is trying to say by wearing all silver to “The Golden Compass”? Is there a hidden message in her choice of fashion?

Train.Second, this movie is beyond redemption, I am Legend and other great movies are opening during this christmas season, with the kind of gross amounts reported, it will be hard for the movie to be a blockbuster like they had hoped. I think she needs to take a looonnngg break and think her career through coz honestly, things are not going soo well for her right now.
She is terrific in this film, i think she should get a nom for a supporting role.She is divine as mrs Coulter. Don’t like her hair, but the suit is perfect on her!

Don’t PR people always monitor what is being said about the celebs they represent? I strongly doubt the stars are checking the Internet for stories about themselves, that’s what PR people do for a living.

This is unique but I actually kind of like it. It’s not cookie cutter fashion and it works on Nicole. I also like her hair loose and redder. She looks good. Her body is as amazing as ever.

Newflash, Americans actually do read books and write and think and all those things. Maybe enough of us have read the book and decided we didn’t need to see the movie. Funny how that works. I loved Pullman’s Dark Materials series but decided to spend my movie money on things I don’t already know the characters, plots and ending of. And besides, you couldn’t pay me to go see Nicole “shiny five-head” Kidman on screen.
And even though the movie is making some money overseas, it isn’t enough to call the movie a hit. It is still being called a box office dud.

The people who have been making fun of her suit, Nicole did it herself in an interview on the Sunrise program in Australia yesterday. The interviewer complimented her on it & she called it her “spacesuit.” She wears what she wants & is having fun. That is her choice & she has said in another recent interview she does not look herself up online because she knows everything good, bad or indifferent has been written about her. She is not interesting in reading anything that is said about her online. She is just living her life the way she wants to & I say good for her. she does NOT use botox, never has & she sees her kids she just keeps them out of the spotlight as much as possible. Also her choice. What people say on here is not hurting her.
