The upcoming romantic comedy from Twentieth Century Fox is directed by Step Up’s Anne Fletcher, also stars cornball extraordinaire James Marsden and opens nationwide on January 11, 2008.
Plot: A young woman (Heigl) who has made a career out of being a bridesmaid but never a bride faces her worst nightmare when her sister (Malin Åkerman) becomes engaged to the man of her dreams. Luckily, the wedding brings around the man (Marsden) who will change her bridesmaid status for good, along with the help of her nephew Brett (Ryan Laskey).

But on the flip side its what made her famous so she’s biting the hand that fed her there and with Greys calling her character a “ratings ploy,” But that shows stinks anyways so no matter what they do with her character she still reeks!!

She is beginning to annoy me. ubiquitous Thinks way too much of herself. Thinks she is the next big thing. We’ll see. Sure, she can achieve the old Hollywood glamour on the red Carpet, but can she act?

I think James Marsden is very very cute. Somebody should offer him movies with him in the lead role. He should not take the Luke Wilson way, where he is just there to support the heroin in a chick-flick.
The Notebook, superman Returns and now this!! Enough already James. I don’t know why they are offering guys like James and Cris Pine( from Just my Luck) supporting roles with such annoying chicks as Kat Heigel and Lindsay Lohan and a lot of really horrible,out of shape actors like Will Farrel,Vince Vaighn etc getting lead parts in movies! Yikes!
Bring back the cute and the handsome already, with full force. Not just supporting gigs.

Heigl has no talent - so… aniston’ish. she’s the worst in everything she does. her performance in Knocked Up reminded me of aniston in Along Came Polly / The Break Up - she wasn’t funny, Seth Rogen carried the whole film.
I’m actually starting to get tired of her. ‘Knocked Up’ was great and should have kept her mouth shut about it being “sexiest.” Some of the great comedy duos were carried by women - eg: Sonny and Cher - but she doesn’t mention that. I’m getting sick of her trying to be outspoken and causing more problems then what they’re worth.
I am not the hugest Heigl fan, but to say she is a poor actress is unfair. She is quite good. Jessica Alba is a bad actress! Be fair. Furthermore, her comments about Knocked Up were correct. However, because she was in the film, it was obviously taken the wrong way. And she’s pretty. But to digress, that James Marsden…Wow!

Heigl needs to thank Isaiah Washington everyday. She was and will be when her 15 minutes of fame are up - a nobody.
