OlderAshley’s Apology to Fans
Ashley Tisdale just made a public apology to her fans and friends in Miami and Philadelphia, where she backed out of her Jingle Ball performances.
Here’s the public apology from the 22-year-old High School Musical star:
“I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to be at the holiday shows this weekend. I haven’t fully recovered from my surgery and had to make the difficult decision to cancel the appearances.
When my surgery was scheduled, we didn’t think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time. Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer.
The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my fans. I flew out to the east coast with the dancers and crew still hoping I would be well enough to perform.
I hope you all have a very happy holiday season.

My sister had a deviated septum too and she had surgery to fix it. Her nose looks different now and it’s not because of a rhinoplasty.
I don’t even like Ashley Tisdale, but I don’t bash her just because I can. A deviated septum is a big deal in some cases and it’s good that she decided to take care of her health, even if it means she had to cancel some shows.

I was sooo pissed when I went to the the Y-100 Jingle Ball and you weren’t there and a lot of others were pissed too. There were a lot of little kids there to see you even like a little text went on saying “Ashley I hope you come out soon…ilu” I felt bad for the kids and I was also angry in general, but I’m glad you came out to apologize, it really makes me love you even more…

i went to the Q102 jingleball and i was SOOO excited to see her perform. i was so upset when i found out she wasn’t going to be there. but i hope she is feeling better! … just my luck. the one time i go to a concert to see her especially, shes not there. =(

I was at the All Access Lounge in NYC for Z100’s Jingle Ball (The Pre-Event where Ashley was scheduled to perform) and Ashley came on stage to announce that she wasn’t going to perform, and I completely understood why. She said that she really just wanted to tell her fans because she cares a lot about them. Sure I was disappointed, but she’s still recovering and there’s no way she wants to risk anything bad happening. Instead, her dancers came out and danced to “He Said, She Said” and it was awesome! I was watching her standing on the side and btw, she looked gorgeous! I was REALLY close to the stage so I got a great view of her.
And then she still did the Meet and Greet! So it’s obvious that she really cares about her fans.
She also came on stage at the actual Jingle Ball and wished a happy birthday to Jordin Sparks! That was where all the pictures of her new nose are coming from. So all in all, I’m a HUGE fan of Ashley’s and I really wish her all the best - and she definitely made the right decision by canceling her performances. Apparently, she almost had a heart attack before the pre-event at Jingle Ball and was breathing in a ton of Oxygen from a tube. Yeah, I wouldn’t have performed either.
So people need to give her a break, seriously. I wish Ash all the best in a full and speedy recovery.

She has nothing to apologize for. But, I respect and appreciate her honesty and open communication to her fans. Not all celebrities would even feel inclined to apologize for cancelling a performance. Luckily for her east coast fans she seems to frequent NY often, and it is by no means a last chance at her performing there.

The only thing about the septum surgery, is that she didn’t need to nose change her nose. I know this because my husband had the same surgery and it didn’t need to shorten her nose. She had the changes so that she would have a shorter nose. That isn’t an image that should go out to young people. There are people that need the septum surgey on some people. But they don’t have to have their nose shortened for it.
There are alot of young people, that do still look up to these stars. Not realizing they are only human,
and that they are not their Character.

Correction for a deviated septum is an internal procedure involving the cartilage in between both nostrils and does NOT result in external changes like the ones we have seen with Miss Tisdale.
I liked her before, but this fakeness is quite bothersome.
Although her old nose was bigger, it was a little bit better than the new one. I guess she looks better with her new nose WITHOUT any makeup. Have you seen pictures of Ash without makeup(with the old nose)? She looked old.
My opinion is that it was okay to straighten her nose and lower the bridge but to shorten it somehow changes her whole face esp. her side profile. It takes some getting use to .
At least she admits to her nose job, unlike a certain Zac Efron. The lengths that some people go to for vanity is very disconcerting.

It Doesn’t Look Right 
Stop blaming Ashley, and calling her a liar! How do you know guys know if she had something wrong with her nose or not? You don’t so you can’t judge! Her fans will still love her for whoever she is inside, not just what she looks like. From what I’ve heard she needed it for medical and health reasons, I’m sure that’s more important than the ”Jingle Ball”. She apologized, what more can she do? I’m certain if you were in that position she was in and you wasn’t feeling in any state to perform, you would cancel too. Think about her instead of other people - its not her fault if she can’t perform and she HAD to have that surgery done.

Not all Ashley fans “make excuses” for the decisions she makes in her career. I’m an Ashley fan, and although I appreciate the updates and open line of comuunication Ashley initiates between she and her fans, I am not an idiot; she has used playback during past performances, I don’t think every single item of clothing she wears is ‘like, omg so great!’, and her nose OBVIOUSLY looks different now. But, I do not judge her for the decisions she deems best for her. She isn’t out purposely harming or hurting anyone. Until she starts endangering herself or others, I’m not going to preach about my opinion of everything she does. As a whole package- Ashleys’ got ‘it’, meaning she has charisma, presence, character, and talent.
I’m sure her threads will continue to be colorfully peppered with self righteous, immature, cold, thoughtless non-fans zeroing in on this girl for even bothering to breathe.
