Brad Pitt @ Regis & Kelly

Brad Pitt, in his signature newsboy cap, signs some autographs for fans in NYC Monday morning outside of ABC studios after an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly!

The 43-year-old father-of-four promoted his “Make it Right” project for the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.

Brad’s interview on Regis & Kelly is expected to air next Monday morning (Christmas Eve), Dec. 24. A performance by the cast of “High School Musical: The Ice Tour” will also air later in the show. (Angie picked up the The High School Musical East High Yearbook Dress-Up Collection for Halloween!)

Brad turns 44 tomorrow! Happy Birthday, William Bradley Pitt!

#126: Just who are you talking to? Trolls will bite whether you bait them or not. That’s why they are trolls…hellooo?

If you were a real fan, you’d be putting your real name on that header. Why hide to express a opinion?

I believe the wrap party for The Changeling was on Saturday. I believe the whole family is in NYC and will be going on down to New Orleans for x-mas.

Angel. Haven’t looked at your link yet so perhaps I’m posting the same time. Will scroll back. Angelina was one of the runner ups in the Best Actress category @ the Dallas/Ft. Worth Film Critics Awards and nice mention to AOJJ.

#127: Okay, prove to us that Angie is in LA. She may not be in NYC but if she’s anywhere, you’d better back up what you say. You never tire of pies in your faces…guess you like the feeling of being a punching bag.

Janice @ 12/17/2007 at 1:06 pm Re: Pax’s new picture.

Apparently Angelina sent a report back to the Vietnamese authorities detailing Pax’s progress and supposedly this was one of the pictures attached to the report. The report also said things like Pax could now speak in full English sentences, that he was very imaginative, was always reciting and telling funny stories, that he loves singing, laughing, dancing and playing with motored cars and that he had a very big appetite (LOL).
I’m not sure how accurate this is but it’s cute.

Great how quickly a child can learn a new language. He looks like a very sweet little boy.I wonder what his favorite food is.

Thanks Janice!

One Response to “Scientology and Autism - Mutually Exclusive (WTF??)”

My mother-in-law is a speech therapist and regularly works with autistic children. She was telling me today how autism is so much more common among children these days than it was in past generations. And, it’s a worldwide affliction.
As much as I love Vincent Vega, the “parenting” decisions you describe above go beyond ignorance — they are nothing less than criminal.
The solution: Take Jett and the Cruise kid, Suri, and give them to ANGELINA JOLIE. Then, lock Travolta and Cruise in Travolta’s 747 for a couple of weeks and let them fcuk all of the “thetans” out of eachother so they can finally embrace their homosexuality and take off their Scientology blinders.

AWESOME NEWS

how could anyone wish a close lovely family to fall apart. Fine you like Anjie and you don’t like Brad but if you like Angie you wouldn’t want her to take their father away. And He is a great father and he makes her happy.

I know what you mean about the leaking of the information so no worries. I only posted the picture at first and I was seriously debating as to whether to post the information contained in ‘this’ report as well. The loss of privacy when it comes to this family is just really sad.
oh and love ya too!

Brad Pitt Actually IS Doing A Heck Of A Job

With all due respect to State of Play and the top-drawer talent involved in it, Brad Pitt–just a day before today’s announcement that Russell Crowe would be replacing him in Universal’s smart thriller–has again shown an acute sense of what the big picture actually is.

As he told the New Orleans Times-Picayune in a comprehensive story about his new initiative to help rebuild a patch of the Katrina-ravaged 9th Ward, the killer 2005 storm “illuminated the brutal truth that there’s a portion of our society that we’re not looking after, that we are marginalizing. And that shouldn’t be.”

It could sound almost simplistic, until you reflect on everything that happened–or more to the point didn’t happen–both before and after the nation’s “Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job” moment at the Mobile Regional Airport (as quoted here in the official White House Press release of September 2, 2005.

For contrast there’s this from today’s New York Times piece on the shortage of affordable rentals (given the slow state of home rebuilding) in NOLA. (Also see the associated video.) “FEMA just makes you feel like dirt,” said trailer park resident Tiffany Farbe, in the same edition that also covered Pitt’s effort–in which the star, matched by producer Steve Bing, invested $5 million of his own.

Pitt talks about these subjects with an intensity that far outmatches what he has to say about his day job. There’s commitment, even fervor, and when we spoke he was eager to rejoin his pal David Fincher for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button , shooting in New Orleans.

He is a conscientious worker, and cynical Hollywood types who are searching for reasons he may have dropped out of State of Play should consider that what he’s said, through intermediaries, says is exactly what he means–the script, at least for him to play, wasn’t right.

When Pitt and I talked about 12 Monkeys–in which his jittery, amped-up performance was generally admired and taken as a sign of growing seriousness as an actor–he was still brooding over what he felt were wrong choices.

Pitt, having endured a long haul with Fincher on Benjamin Button and a fairly quick shoot with buddy George Clooney on the Coen brothers’ Burn After Reading, just may be happy to take advantage of a little break to attend to that famously expansive family. As he said on the African coast not long after wrapping his (again, much admired) turn in Babel:

I’m exhilarated. I’m pumped at the end of the shoot. I’ve heard of people who don’t know where to go and go into depressions and don’t know what to do with themselves. Man, I’m free! I feel great. I feel–a sense of accomplishment and that the work is done and that it’s time for a little free play.

I’m between chores so I’m posting for a bit

I just wanted to wish that dreamy William Bradley Pitt a very happy 44th birthday tomorrow since I will be on my way to OKC soon.

Have a great party. Don’t let the silly trolls ruin your celebration.

Peace out!

really? @ 12/17/2007 at 1:17 pm : And what will you do when Brad and Angie will go to New Orleans to spend the holidays with their family as they BOTH have said in their interview huh? Commit a suicide? If Angie is not in NY so what? Brad will be there for some hours to tape his interviews and then back to where his family is whether if it’s L.A, N.O or anywhere else.Just like he always does. Don’t try to convince yourself that people here are as stupid as you are.

Hot Dry Lips

Brad Pitt stopped by Regis & Kelly today for a pretaping and was practically mobbed outside the studio. As you can see, the cold winter air is dehydrating his lips thought it’s nothing a little Jolie Jungle Sex can’t take care of. I miss Pitt Po rn.

Despite the December chill, however, Brad remains the hotness. As “cool” as ever. And yes… still wearing that chapeau, replicas of which he is selling off in support of Make It Right http://www.makeitrightnola.org/. As you know, and as many of you have griped about, Brad’s been wearing it all year. Turns out, there’s a plan behind everything.

The Pitts plan everything, see?
