Some people are just plain ignorant. Ricky Martin is a Buddhist. This haircut is a Buddhist monk style of cut. He is very spiritual and shaved his head this way because he is going to India very soon. This guy is so above all the ignorant things said about him. It takes a lot of discipline to live above the ignorance. You can learn from him and others like him.
By the way, Ricky just won a couple of Grammies for his MTV Unplugged album. How is that a “has been”? You people think just because he isn’t all over the tabloids in the U.S. that he is a nobody. Hello??? Other countries do exist. Ricky is bigger than ever in the Latin communities. He is one of their most respected artists with over 60 million records sold worldwide. He made a few English albums for a crossover market. It doesn’t mean he has to keep singing in English. He is a Latin artist.
Oh please! Gay, straight or bi…does it really matter anymore? Can’t you people just worry about your own sex life instead of others? I’d like to think our society could give a rat’s ass about someone’s sexual preferances. Am I hoping for too much??? Start setting examples. Ricky is not Buddhist. In this case he won’t be able to be anything else. He said it so many times in the inteviews. He does practice yoga and meditation and some other rituals. He is familiar with Buddhist philosophy and other religions as well. As some of the readers have mentioned Ricky is much more than a cheep blog comment and far away from the triviality that you can find here. He has achived in last 2 years more than all of you together would ever be able to achive in your entire life. Despite everything he is down to earth guy and he likes to do normal things. You should better inform yourself about Ricky Martin and follow his example. I’m pretty sure that you will be able to find so many interesting facts about his music, acomplishments and humanitarian work, more facts than your pitty and shortminded brains could ever think of.
Regarding his sexual orientation - who cares whit whom he shares his bad? I’m pretty sure that you will never find anything inappropriate in his private life. You should better question the sexual orientation and behaviour of the predators and human and child traffickers. How about to gossip about them? What is ist? Don’t dare,huh? I thought so cowards!

Selling out a tour is good for his pocketbook, not his mind. And if he wants to look like this, he’s obviously lost his.
Ricky Martin is a has been. He hasn’t won a real grammy in a almost a decade and he hasn’t had a number one hit on the top charts in a decade. Old fools like Tom Jones can still sell out an arena by wiggling their ass. It doesn’t make them today’s news. Ricky showing his ass in an airport doesn’t make him today’s news either.
