Sometimes it’s sad knowing that they don’t get to see each other a lot right now since he’s filming, but I can’t help but smile everytime I think that soon they will be filming HSM3 and will get to see each other everyday!!!!

Night Steph, Hi Zvkg!

Yep, I go to the University of Adelaide. I live at home, university is a little different over here than in the U.S., it’s more like high school I guess. We don’t have dorms or sororities or anything like that. Most campuses only have a small student housing area for international students or interstate students but most of us either still live at home or share off-campus apartments with friends and only go to Uni for our tutorials, lectures, to use the library etc…(Oh and to hang out at the Uni Bar :) )

The year after? Damn, I would be bitter too!

Yeah, university here is definitely different to America. Sometimes I wish we did have dorms and everything, but I do like it how it is. And having a bar on campus is really neat. It’s on the fifth floor of the main student building (there’s also a bookstore, travel agent, record store, cafeteria and a one screen cinema) and it overlooks the river that runs through Adelaide. They have live bands on Fridays and are open during the day, so a lot of people head there if they have a break between tutorials etc.

You played rugby? I love rugby! (well watching it anyway). Adelaide
(the city) doesn’t have a rugby team because Aussie Rules is the sport here (not that I’m complaining, I’m an Aussie Rules fanatic, have you ever seen a game?) but I watch our national team whenever they play.

Yeah, the building is cool and the travel agent specifically caters to uni students so they have cheaper airfares, backpacking tours etc…

Aussie Rules (or footy as we mostly say) can be very intense! Adelaide actually has two teams, the Crows (est. 1991 and won two premierships) and the Port Adelaide Power.

I’m a Power supporter, they actually started as the Port Adelaide Magpies in our state league way back in 1876 (I think) and only joined the national league in 1997 (had to change their name because there already was a Magpies team). But we were the most successful state team anywhere (34 premierships including 6 in a row) and in the 10 years in the national league we’ve won two pre-season cups, three minor premierships (finishing first after the regular season) and one major premiership back in 2004. We actually made the grand final this year, but rather embarrassingly lost by 119 points, the biggest losing margin in a grand final ever!! I was so upset :(

Wow you are a huge fan mini me. That’s awesome that the Power are so good. Makes being a supporter that much easier. Oh 119 points…ouch! If it’s scored similar to Rugby I’d say they got their tushes handed to them!! But there’s always next year and I’m sure they will come back stronger and will be out for revenge!!!
